I’m so into electric supercharger and you have the most in it so far. Can’t wait for the coming update. Great job.

What controller is that and where do you buy one?
@fernandohood55422 жыл бұрын
I am assuming this controller speaks to esc via the serial port (db9) or is for programming the map table? Can you describe the battery pack and how you have it connected? Was that 360A. Omg!!!

That´s a very nice project. But before installing it in the car I would reccomend meassuring the air mass, it is pushing at various pressures. (maybe use a MAF sensor and a blow off valve for testing) I dont know for sure, but I assume this setup wont add peak power to a 3.2l engine. So maybe also test the engines NA air consumption. I think this setup would do great in combination with a low displacement engine and a big Turbo, in order to reduce the lag. For short Bursts you can add a Capacitor. If you plan to really Drive the car, you will also need a charging system for the high voltage power source. I think using a Hybrid as a platform would make more sense, so you wouldn´t have to engineer the entire battery situation. Anyway, Keep up the good work. Im looking forward to see how this setup progresses.

What size engine is that car and whats it's red line .. how much boost are you looking for at redline ? keep up the good work...subbed
@pendulumtuning78854 жыл бұрын
3.2l v6, Redline is 7500 and I'd be happy with 2psi. If you think about how much vaccum the engine is making, this would be a noice boost 💪
@Ultrasonictwo4 жыл бұрын
@@pendulumtuning7885 Well that should be super easy you only need about 6,7kw of constant applied power for that. though you don't show voltage it's hard to be sure of what power your actually applying but at a guess probably twice that. 14kw should be good for 4.1 psi
@Ultrasonictwo4 жыл бұрын
yes run the max voltage possible... In this video it didn't look like you fully closed the valve to show us the max PSI it was giving. ALSO you need a voltmeter on there so we can see what voltage it's running at when all the current is being pulled ..
@pendulumtuning78854 жыл бұрын
Will do 😎 Next video I'll hook up a multimeter and show you what happens when you close the valve.
@Ultrasonictwo4 жыл бұрын
@@pendulumtuning7885 Cool, then we'll know that actually applied power, then we can make predictions of what PSI you'll get across different engine sizes. FYI i believe it should pull more power with the gauge open then closed so. On a different note i hope you're not planning to put the lipos in the engine bay.

I have been researching In electric superchargers for years and this is by far The best setup I have ever seen. The amount of low-end torque that is going to Produce is going to be out of this fucking world . Please for the love of God Let us know mass air flow, Wattage Etc

The C rating doesn't push that motor like it should, use 120c 6s cells in series

30KW electric supercharger. Why not just add the 30kw electric motor directly via a belt with a clutch? 40hp is a lot in say... a Honda accord or civic.
