Not sure what day you went, but most of these places you visited have since become crowded with customers (esp during the weekend) when they became more well-known during the pandemic. Too much cornstarch on the "soups" and sauces. If you're used to Chinese food of HongKong, Malaysia or Singapore, this "Chinese" food in Manila's Chinatown just doesn't measure up.

Been to Hong Kong and Macau but I love Binondo authentic Chinese food esp in Wai Ying.. What I like in HK was their Indian food (the Naan and Chicken Masala).
