A little deeper tone !! I have always tuned silencers in my day when there where no 4 strokes but I always have loved 4 strokes when they were not cool!! Old xr honda bikes rocked. But then the sound nazis showed up and 2 strike off road bikes got so choked up we had to go to 4 strokes. I love the 2 strikes for blasting around they are cheap and reliable!! I have been riding since 1979 I was ten and got my first bike !! Loved it every day since then!! Thanks for all your contributions to motorcycling and the hobby of!!!

Let's just go ahead and call it what it is.... The Monster bike! I didn't like the green at first but that color looks really unique in the sunshine. Like it color shifts.. really cool. the shawty "silencer" unleashed the beast. Like that engine was built for it. I've got plenty of earplugs but agree it could be a little rude at times. loud still makes me laugh so i'm not old yet. Just keep that jewel handy for when you want to let the big dog eat. two strokes rule brother!

@user-pt1hz2wz7h I believe you lose a bit of the bottom end "you never had.".and it pulls the power curve higher in rpm range... if you ride w.f.o itl stay there a bit better and have a bit more... but risk to reward ratio..is that extra bit of w.f.o power worth the 3xtra noise? Will your neighbors cry? Does your track care? Things to consider

I had Skway Silencers on my YZ-80 and YZ-100-E I think they were made in the USA, a long gone Company .. The Skway came with a GYT Kit made for the 1975 Yamaha YZ-80-B

You look much more comfortable on the 2 smoker than the 450. IMO 450s are just too much. I wish they would make 350 4-stroke. I think it would be perfect. Even when at Glamis, Ocotillo Wells, SC Hills I never use all my 450s power to hit big gaps. 350 would shave some weight and still be plenty fast, IMO.

Four-strokes when you are a smaller guy you have to be way more controlled with the power on a 2-stroke you can just let it go and the bike won't throw you off love two-strokes

I did this years ago becuase fmf didn’t make a shorty small enough for the yz250. I opened it up and said “what the” took it to work placed it on a band saw and through it on there. Welders always get their way. I’m sure Somebody did it before me tho.
