Really love the way people around the world enjoy the life in our modest country. And it's hornor to say: Welcome back home! My friends
@watchouch Жыл бұрын
To vietnamese people, dong means dollar. When we talk about the price of something, we don't include "dong" in our conversation. For example: it costs 4 dollars For vietnamese people: it costs 40 thousands. We tend to leave the word "dong" out. And thousand(s) secretly becomes the name of the currency. Same rule goes for million(s) and billion(s).
@watchouch Жыл бұрын
One tip is that you should just remove 000 in your head. For example, just think the donuts costed 50. You gave her 100 then should expect to have 50 back 😂

Tip for crossing street in Vietnam: Many tourist foreigners scared of traffic in VN . Don’t worry about it! The rule to win this fear is keep routin slowly walking when you across the streams of motobike! -motobykers knows how to avoid you themself in chaos-order! remmember do not run and stop suddently , accident immidiatly ! Don’t be affraid off and do it if you want to be safety in the crazy- rule traffic in Vietnam.

I was told by my family in vietnam recently that the government is informing the people that if they want to keep tourism coming in they need to not rip people off and give the country a bad reputation or over time no one will come anymore and everyone will loose money/ business

@MoreTravelsWithDrewBinsky Жыл бұрын
it's easy! You can just apply for your Visa on Arrival in advance, and then show the paper to the immigration officer and he stamps your passport - very easy!
@pillowtalker8398 Жыл бұрын
I don’t think so. It’s a valid question. You never know what you get when you apply. For golden week this year they gave me a 10 day visa a week late. Leaving me to just roam about HCMC and spend money for three days. A lot of travelers complain about this.

Vietnam hasbecome my favourite country in Asia, for many reasons, but the main reason being, my girlfriend is Vietnamese, and she is by far, the best person I've ever met, very supportive, very kind and very caring, life since I met her became a lot easier and a lot less sad/stressful, there has been happening a lot in my life over the last few years, I think I haven't been this happy in years, the last time I was this happy, was surely like 11 years ago or something, anyway, she has for sure fixed my mild form of depression I still had for the past 2 years (I am now not at all sad) 6 years ago I did not think I would've made it this far, 6 years later, and I am still alive, and feeling better than ever
