all the early designs had the mechanical load supported by the plastic hook and then transferred to the screws & wood through the backing plate. By putting the hook above the screws in that final design, the mechanical load is supported almost fully by the screws themselves. The plastic is mostly serving as topology to keep the load centered above the screws.

hi, i see where you are coming from, and I get it. But this tests give the proof of concept of something that can reduce the amount of failed or over engineered load bearing prints, or simple by not buying a plastic one brought all the way from the other part of the planet.
