We are skipping what ever a 500 foot coaster would be called and going straight to an exa coaster, which is insane. @otakmilans7459 I'm not saying it isn't? I'm sure they will probably build it. It's simply that they haven't actually broken any records until construction is completed and the ride officially opens. That's how coaster records work. So it's too early to say they "managed to break all 3 stat records" in the past tense. You to use future tense. It's also possible for someone to build a taller or faster coaster (probably not longest though) in the meantime, just to prevent them from getting all 3 at once. The coaster wars are competitive and petty, so it's entirely possible.

The layout changed quite a bit since the first announcement. Especially the tunnel through the rock is gone. I was always wondering if they really wanted to do that for real, as it seemed very problematic and implaussible. The new overground tunnel feels a little compromised, but probably they will put some theming over it at the end.

Saudi is spending already a planned, $500 Billion...(yup...Billion with a B!!) for the entire park and "city" this ride/park will be at/in. This ride alone, I'd assume has to cost at least $600 Million!! I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually $1 Billion!!! On one hand I’m surprised that the project has even gotten this far but looking past any technical problems this right might have I feel like the layout is just 50% filler. That camelback and everything after it look amazing but everything leading up to the big drop I feel is kind of just there to get it there and nothing else. Still looks fun but I think that the park and intamin could have done a bit more making it less of a gimmick ride given the budget and hype.

It's too fast to have longer trains. longer trains would mean more weight. More weight would mean higher stresses on track/trains, and higher forces on the riders which would make it too intense and possibly too dangerous to ride. Hence intimidator 305.

Judging from other videos on the layout, looks like the longest block zone is about 70 seconds which would be from the top of the plateau to the final brake. With the measley 16 seats on the preliminary video we're looking at a MAX capacity of 820 per hour which is... terrible. If this video's 14 seats is actually accurate, we drop to 714. I think it's obvious from how the star attraction being advertised is a capacity nightmare that the park is more of a show than an actual business. Either this never goes through or we're looking at an extremely overpriced gimmick for rich people only there for F1 anyways. If this park gets built, tickets could easily exceed $500, possibly being over $1000, even though its a Six Flags park.

To me the largest, single drop of a coaster should be the only relevant factor for classifying coasters. I mean, would you feel more comfortable calling a coaster a Giga that has a 150 ft Lift Hill but a 320 ft drop in the middle of the ride down the side of a Hill or a Wild Mouse style coaster that is 320 ft tall but has only drops around 150 ft each?

I copied my comment on Coaster Studios's video It does look pretty cool but 1. Can we start letting other manufacturers make these record-breaking coasters because Intamin has never had the greatest track-record with them 2. Can we stop trying to build these massive billionaire projects in the UAE or Saudi Arabia before they start treating everyone who's not a millionaire (or male, etc) like they actually exist (that includes building an actual sewage system lol)

This coaster is hundreds of millions of dollars no American park could possibly afford to build and operate it. The government is paying for it and they have unlimited money they are also trying to have the Olympics by that park in 2023.

​@@coastaku1954 Ok, nerd talk time 🤓🤓🤓🤓 look at formula rosa, It's an insanely fast coaster with these large, swooping turns and floater airtime hills. I've experienced it first-hand. The graceful swooping elements allow you appreciate the pure speed. You feel like you're flying instead of flinging you across your seat in different directions with large fluctuations of force. I think fast coasters should be like so, intense by showcasing its insane speed through large, drawn-out, floaty elements, but not headache inducing, tight 'element-after-element' layouts. Intimidator 305's high intensity was a mistake. The GP hated it, and it almost never has a queue according to avid kd park fans. Overall, record breaking speed, and coaster enthusiast standards of intensity do not go together! Intamin knows what they are doing with these new layouts by providing high comfort to riders and minimal stress on track and supports.
