Great video Debo. That first bluegill/perch 6" swimbait looked amazing, and the craws looked sweet too. I just picked up that Veritas PLX rod in the 7'3" MH and can't wait to use it. I put the Revo X reel on it with 15lb. Seaguar red label fluorocarbon. See you on the next one. 🎣👍

A little tip I picked up from tactical bassin on those owner centering pin screw locks. To save your paddle tails/swim baits from getting blown out on the nose, buy the next size large pins and replace the ones that come on the hook from the factory. The larger centering pin holds more plastic and will pull out of the nose less easily.

Them swim baits are fire 🔥. Those were legit works of art. If you don't use them all I would suggest making something cool to hang it on the wall. That blue gill perch color is the best.

I'll be 58 years old in a few months. I've used eagle claw hooks as long as I can remember and I've never had one bend out or break on bass or pan fish. I have bent them out on 15 pound catfish, but never break. I have had mustad hooks break and bend out on big cats but nothing else. Just because they are sold at wal mart doesn't make them bad. 6th Sense is now sold at my local wal mart, and they are top notch. Also, wal mart is about the lowest price on culprit worms. If you haven't used culprit worms you have done yourself a disservice.

Gonna give this a shot. Dear Debo, I gotta Daiwa Tatula LT 2500 spinning reel for Christmas. I've used the reel Twice. This past Saturday I casted set my bail and noticed the Carbon body on my reel was like oxidizing. I wet my finger, rubbed it and Nothing! Called Daiwa and Bass Pro and they never heard of such a thing. What's frustrating is I Love this reel and don't want to send it back. I can live with the discolor. I was wondering if you or anyone has heard of this and does it affect the reel?

@@slougo5909 if you're talking about carbon/Graphite, that's a type of plastic. So that couldn't rust. I'm not sure what part exactly that you're talking about.

Carbon is plastic, never realized that. Oxidize was a wrong choice words, sorry. The body/frame is discolored, it looks oxidized. I was cynically thinking something was or wasn't put in the stew to make frame.
