I was watching the fight against Bruno Gabe you looked great 👍 ❤ I was going to say check those kicks but you corrected that and started checking those and awesome combos working the body head body finishing up with a head kick maybe after the hands and boy bas rutten had nothing but positive things about your striking aand how sharp and precise your hands are man I sure we all are soo proud of you buddy I had no idea you were in the karate combat league I haven't seen this fight yet but good luck with everything and thank you❤!!!!

I am hoping that is coming sooner than later to be honest, but nothing about retiring in the near future. Gabriel still loves to train for a fight and challenge himself by fighting. He posted a video every day during his fight camp, but this last few days were travel days from Victoria BC, to Miami Florida, press conference stuff, weigh ins, and he is fighting tomorrow night. The ref is not supposed to just let a fighter get knocked out. The ref is trained to give counts whenever a fighter drops or is taking an excessive amount of punishment without much response. Refs are not trained to "let fighters get the finish" which ultimately is better for the fighters health in the long run
