World War II Memorial Defaced By Vandals In Fall River

The Iwo Jima Memorial in Fall River’s Veterans Park was defaced by two vandals. WBZ-TV's Ryan Kath reports

Why do people have to direspect in such fashion to see this out rages me alot. I have a friend who fought at Iwo Jima, it was bloody many Japanese and American lives were lost to take 80 square miles of land. 60,000 men were casualties there. At Normandy somewhere around 16,000 casualties were taken for almost 10,000 square miles. Both were horrible battles and deserve the respect of everyone in the U.S
