By the time war was declared the Soviets had lost. They easily would've taken West Germany. However NATO forces would have complete control of the skies. American strategic bombers would flood into the Europe destroying ports, infrastructure, supplies, soviet cities, and munitions. The Soviets would have a very hard time trying to get past the Alpine Mountains into Italy, and they wouldn't have been able to take control of the seas, thusly being unable to launch an invasion into southern Italy. Soviet forces would take Northern France as they do outnumber them, however it is becoming increasingly difficult as American and Canadian reinforcements keep on arriving en mass, they are being constantly beaten and battered by British and American tactical bombers and jets, and their supply lines are over extended, constantly being bombed. I think that the Soviet advance would cut off with most of the Alpine region in their control, West Germany, Turkey, and Northern France. However as more and more British, American and Canadian troops pour in, including armored divisions with superior tanks and technology pour into southern France the Soviets are halted. An allied landing in Northern France would happen as the Soviets would have had enough time to reinforce the Coast. Meanwhile a NATO counter offensive in Southern France would take place. I think your video was very accurate.

Yeah, that was what I thought, but the Soviets had an initial land superiority the allies couldn't match in a short term. Plus, they had the surprise factor, in the first months allied casualities nearly doubled Soviet ones. About the landing, it was done with paratroopers and support of the small Italian and Greek fleet (The Greek army was divided and several units which were communsit switched sides, including part of the navy which was taken in an incident). Landing such an excessive amount of troops in Europe would leave other fronts of the war (Such as Korea) without real NATO protection and the US would not like that. That's why the Soviet advance projected further than you would think at the beginning.

@Saint 4-0 Economic, industrial power, and numerical superiority, which in ww2 they have been demonstrated useless. Remember, USSR has had 24mln casualties between soldiers and civs. They don't have economical and industrial power to match richer Europe, Usa and allies countries. That's because communism is limited to internal production, and almost no trading. They have almost no real allied countries, let alone that can match Usa allies. They don't have importan military structures outside mother Russia, so they can't sustain logistically a war in Europe, let alone a global war. By the time the European forces resist to gain time for Americans to come, USSR would just start struggling to keep up with supplies.

@Saint 4-0 Nato Forces reunited togheter, counted more soldiers than warsaw pact (much more allied countries), but to mobilize all the usa and allied forces (like japan), they need a lot of time, and that's a point in favor of the Ussr. I think that Nato could atleast regain Europe by fighting back, but they will not be probably able to invade Russia because it is a very difficult campaign, so yeah, it will be a stallmate at most.

The only way for N. A. T. O. to win an ipothetycal war with the soviets was to stop them on the Rhine or on the French borders, wich was probable to succeed, if France falled, N. A. T. Of worthy opponents, there remained only England. In real life, in this case, England would settle on its island and protect them. England would not even try to carry out the offensive. How England did this during the Second World War. About Spain, I generally keep quiet - seriously perceive Spain is simply ridiculous. The United States would not have been able to send as many amphibious forces into Europe as it could to keep the entire European front. The US simply did not have enough transport ships for this. So... WHO could defeat the Communists from 2.07? This video just does not make sense. Either the commie lose earlier, or the commie do not lose at all. I think a more accurate version would show white dots of neutral zones in Germany (due to nukes), a lot of evacuations by both sides in the opposite direction of each other there, and a greater amount of insurgents and airborne forces suddenly appearing behind each others' lines trying to control strategic areas, particularly along coasts.

I have noticed 2 things in WW3 videos. The red usually has a hard time in Italy, and NATO begins a European offensive in the Pyrenees mountains.

To tje ones who thought Warsaw pact will emerge victorious, let me explain why they will always lose ALL Warsaw pact members have a significantly smaller economies than their western counterparts, during the 60's the US economy was reaching the point, where its economy was nearly twice the soviet economy, during the 70's Japan claimed silver in the worlds largest Economy, surpassing the combined economy of Warsaw Pact, also, the USSR has a numerous amount of Minor ethnic groups, some hate the rule of Moscow, not only that, the USSR, despite having a larger population than USA, it doesn't have the resources to win a long war surpassing 2 years, a year long conflict was deemed the best scenario for the soviets, taking in how they lasted longer during WW2 the answer is simple Lend Lease Program, that's right, the USSR survived WW2, because of the Lend lease Program, 15% of all equipment the USSR used, came from the USA, doesn't seem much, how about the 60% of all steel the USSR used came drom USA, over 80% of all food the soviet populace ate was US war rations, in other words, it was the US that kept the USSR from starving to death, and helped out produce the Germans. Now how does this affect the soviets 20 years later? The soviets actually placed a Strict economy rule, if you don't make the required production, the Government will give you resources, meaning, to increase the production, the Soviet's had to throw tons of resources, and the plant managers can always find ways to make the plant under perform, this was a problem that the Communist party failed to find a solution, as the Communist party relied on them In other words, the soviet economy was ill-suited to support a war, yhe industrial sector was doing fine, the Agricultural sector has much to be desired from, and the Army, was using T-55 tanks as the Main tank, the T-62 failed and the T-64 was reserver for elite units, ehich there are very few of, as the Soviets conscripted men into the Army

@@galaxyred7 1. Spain is not the only one fighting, American troops and nato troops are there fighting with Spain 2. The supply range is very stretched so that frontline is not supplied enough 3. The Soviet Union was at the verge of collapse so it added more problems to the moral of troops. 4. Don’t say this isn’t realistic because look at Ww2 the Germans basically took all of Europe and they still lost.

Some corrections: 1-Some territories of Yugoslavia would be annexed by the invaders, such as Kosovo to Albania, Macedonia to Bulgaria and Vojvodina to Hungary. 2-Israel would not be dominated easily, it would probably have been the same as the Six Day War, and then it would have turned into a bloody conflict without any progress. 3-Turkey and Iran would not be easily invaded either, as they have mountains and a powerful army. 4-San Marino, Andorra and Cyprus would not have been invaded, as they do not have any strategic value. 5-The war would end up becoming nuclear, whether when France saw that defeat was imminent, and especially when NATO forces began to enter Soviet territory, the USSR would use nuclear weapons as a last resort.
