Haters of the internet/youtubers are constantly messing up People’s lives. Paul already paid his debt to the society and should enjoy the freedom of any normal citizen. He is not a threat to the Philippines. He speaks so well and real about the Philippines and is always inviting people to be respectful while visiting or living in the Philippines. Ph actually have moral laws. Ironicly EU also has laws that gives EU mrmberstates the right to kick out any citizen of other EU memberstates IF they ago against "Public health", or "Public moral", or "Public... (forgot the last one). So not only philippine has such laws. But EU seldom enact that law in practice. Only agaibst muslims etc, for ludacruce reasobs (racism/islamaphobic disguised by abusing local laws). Anyway, back to ph. (As EU is not relevant in this situation). Philippines has laws of not allowing anyone into Ph, if they are considered to be agaibst public moral or have a significant impact on reducing public miral. YES, philippine government COULD use that law to close down all the prostitution in Angeles city and deport abd BLACKLIST every foreigners involved in prostitution purchases etc. It gies agaibst public miral. But sadly... its a lot of corruption. And laws are usually enforced by local gov. Not central. So Angeles city piliticians etc has a cobflict of interest. And at same time central gov would ratger have it contained in 1 city, compared to spread out. It is the same in my european country. Hard drugs are illegal... but the gov "allows it" (under surveilance" in a very limited area.because its easier to have it cobtained in an area, compared to spread out. Meaning that allthough its illegal, the police allow it to happend in that very limited area. Police only surveilance to see bo fights, no overdose, no extra problems or garashments, etc, etc.

My wife's brother-in-law (she's filipino, as is he) was falsely jailed for over a year on a made up charge by corrupt police. His attorney finally got him released and cleared (we, among others, helped financially with the attorney). From what he says, being jailed in Philippines is definitely not a country club. Glad you're out Paul.

Next, I was making no assumptions about Paul's guilt or innocence, I was just remarking that being jailed in Philippines is not Club Med. Paul may decide to speak on the matter or not, as is his right. I'm just glad to know that he's out and free from the nightmare. There are lots of trolls out there against him .. personally, I always enjoyed his channel and am glad to see it again.

I had a similar experience as Paul did when I lived in Angeles in 2002. One of my Filipina ex girlfriends and one of her friends made up a story to get me in trouble. All a Filipina/Filipino has to do is make the story up and take it to the police. One morning the police came to my hotel and the receptionist knocked on my door and told me someone wanted to talk to me. I had a girl in my hotel room. I went to the lobby and it was 2 Filipino police. I asked what do you need to talk to me about. They told me someone reported me. I knew who it was but I didn't say and the cops wanted me to go with them so I did. Long story short, I rode around in their police car half of the day going with them to look for other foreigners wanted. Finally we went to the station and I met who I suspected all along. My ex and her troublemaker friend. We all talked and nothing was done. The cops took me back to the hotel to look at my passport stamp which I had to get the box out of the hotel safe. When I opened the box they saw I had a few hundred dollar bills. The cop hinted and said their police car could use a new radio. I knew what he was doing so I gave him a hundred dollar bill and he told me my passport was good and I could go about my vacation. I haven't been back. That was minor but all someone has to do is make up a story and you have to clear your name even though you did nothing wrong. All about extortion!
