I hardly think the Menendez brothers were sexually abused, it was just a ploy to get them off. There was no proof at all, and that was something that was brought up much later in the trial as an excuse.

They hated their rules and wanted their parents estate without having to wait for them to die. They killed daddy to release the money. They killed mommy so she wouldn't GET the money. The Menendez brothers should not be in prison for life. You have no friggin idea how childhood sexual abuse affects a human unless you live it. That doesn't mean every woman tells the truth about abuse. In this case, the ones being accused *including a woman* were the ones being lied about.

There are two kinds of entitled people in this country. The rich and beautiful and the ones in the projects that feel they are owed a living for what their ancestors went through.

I don’t think it’s fair the brothers got life in prison. Due to the traumatic abuse they’ve experienced in their childhood, I think they should at least have a lighter sentence that life without parole. It wasn’t their fault that they got abused by their parents. I think they should have a retrial to talk about the parents’ backgrounds and explain the motives behind the murders and why the boys did it.

The problem is that there was no proof that they were abused except their own claims. They also never told anyone that they were abused.

@@hollyhayes9640 I was neglected by my parents and abused by my older brother. I never told anyone until after my mother died. When I told someone that I knew off and on from childhood, she called me a liar and said that because I never said anything, I had to be lying. I wasn't lying. I just never said anything.

Plenty of people have been abused by their parents and haven't killed them or anyone else. Also, weren't they grown and living at home? I personally wouldn't live with my abusers.

That mendez brothers case sounds like true hell. They shouldve gotten some time but life is far too harsh given the circumstances.

Unfortunately, there is no proof of abuse. There no corroborating evidence or witness testimony, only the word of the boys after they were finally arrested and after seeking counsel. It's possible that it happened, but no one knows.

No their exactly where they belong. There was no proof of abuse given but a lot of proof that they were greedy.

NO F***ING WAY. Those assholes didn't just kill someone; They killed their parents! All for money. They were going to get the cash anyway...they just didn't want to wait. Take a life~ forfeit your life.
