This is probably the best 1500m race I have ever seen. It was so sensational... And all because a beautiful athlete, by the name Faith Kipyegon, refused to give up. Well done Faith; you were simply amazing.

Thank you for sharing that. Fast last two laps, especially the last lap. It is so neat to watch Laura Muir run. Simpson, wow. It would be neat to see them run the whole thing like they ran the last two laps. They would probable get a mile time of 4:03, very cool.

The 1st time I saw Faith I fell in love with her as an athlete. She's the smallest woman in the field but she gets everything out of herself possible. What courage she displays when the race speeds up and the pressure is on. In the Olympics she made a move with a few others at the halfway mark, maintained her position in the top 3, then moved with Dibaba when she put on her typical surge. Dibaba opened a 5, then a 10 meter lead but Faith remained calm and held it together. When she caught Dibaba with about 200 meters left, the race was over at that point. It was so nice to see her alone on the lead for the entire home stretch, knowing full well for those 10 to 15 seconds that the Olympic gold medal was hers. She ran another courageous race when she battled with Hassan in a 1500M race after the Olympics. Hassan made her move early, taking the lead from Faith with a bit less then 1 lap to go. Hassan is very fast and I was hoping she couldn't break Faith with that surprise move. Faith did just as she did in this race, she maintained composure and slowly gobbled her up. Coming out of the last turn Faith just nudged into a lead but Hassan wasn't quitting either. They raced hard with Faith edging away slowly but steadily, a brilliant performance by the outstanding young lady from Kenya. If you're not yet convinced of her ability and grit, she did the same thing here once again. She puts herself in a clear position near the lead at the half and from there it's her against the others, come and get her if you can. She came through in the 2 biggest events in the world; the Olympics and the World Championship race, a double that is extremely difficult to accomplish. Still not convinced? After a 2 year maternity layoff Faith opted to get right back into the fire. She entered the Prefontaine Classic in California recently against a tough field and won the race in the fastest time ever run in the state of California at 159:2, several seconds faster then her previous wins. Faith could have chosen to enter a race that wasn't against the best for a warm up before taking on the best athletes, but she wasn't having it. She has 'Faith' in herself and she's proved time and again that she's the one to beat each time she enters a race.

Mokaya, watched faith kipyegon's beautiful 'crushing wins' not to mention her inspiration and ours too Vivian Cheruiyot? None of us can see enough of their beauty. Now faith wishes to establish an unbeatable world record. For her and the others, a simple word of advice- train with no human. Discuss which best foods to eat and when with Mama and Koko. Digital watch on the right hand ( she is left handed). Run through tough terrain and be your own couch. Think though it alone. Couches only teach tactics in races- pace makers etc. Only Faith Kipyegon can thank her coaches and ask them to leave her for some lengthy time to personally plan how she can run against the clock and herself. She should fight these two toughs first, herself and the clock, then beat the world record before I give her advice on immortality as an athlete. She will break it within the year. Proud of you

@rwenji224 жыл бұрын
Nobody Nobody2, your argument is good but dead wrong. BBC and ProPublica questioned Alberto Salazar’s methods at Oregon Nike Project way back in 2015. That’s the time Sifan Hassan joined his doped stable that included Mo Farah. Despite knowing his errant ways, this two athletes stuck with him and went on to become world beaters. It takes a 5th grade mentality to connect the dots so stop fighting for dopers. You will see a dismal performance from the two athletes in Tokyo if corona virus doesn’t ruin the show.
