Will you be addressing other mono-climate planets so famously found in the Star Wars and a few other settings?

For some biomes yes (at least I plan to). Some biomes can't exist homogenously across an entire planet, at least with our current understanding of climatology, so obviously those won't get a video. But for other mono-climate planets like Arrakis from Dune (spoilers), there'll be videos on them :)

Possibly yes! I had originally intended on including the content of this video in my Tropical Rainforests video, in a little section on 'how to make an entire planet a tropical rainforest', but then realised it was a little off-topic and worthy of its own video. For other climates that can exist homogenously like rainforests can on planets like Kashyyyk, I want to make content for them too. Thanks for the positive feedback, glad you enjoyed! :)

I love these kind of tangents. Would be awesome if you could make more of those. Like how would a planet work with less oxygen or a planet only covered in water or a earthlike planet but with a ring around it.

In the game Knights of the Old Republic it is revealed that Kashyyyk was at least partially terraformed by a species called the Rakata and that some of their technology, well hidden on the extremely dangerous forest floor, continues to function and work to maintain the planet’s jungle even 25 thousand years later. Its also possible that the Wookiees know how to take care of their planet to keep the trees they call home alive and healthy. So while the likelihood of a planet like Kashyyyk occurring naturally is extremely unlikely a few artificial adjustments might make it entirely possible.

If the Rainforests are curated by the Wookies, via extensive planting and using scientific advancements for regular Cloud-Seeding, would it be more probable for a planet like this to exist. Not as a natural occurrence, but a fleeting existence maintained by a species

Well the Wookiees are deceptively advanced technologically (even if they do build most of tbeir tech out of wroshyr wood). What makes Kashyyyk such a strategic world during the Clone Wars is that the Wookiees are masters of hyperspace navigation: they know hyperspace routes that Republic mappers have no records of. It's partly what made Chewbacca such an important ally to Han Solo's smuggling efforts and later to the Rebel Alliance.

Would the tropical ocean with no continents impeding the trade winds or ocean currents not be like a hurricane alley around the planet? All that evaporation being drawn up into the hadley cells has to go somewhere right?

Very cool explanation. I have a question though. How would the thicker atmosphere be achieved / maintained? Wouldn't there be less CO2 and other green house gases, due to that many tress producing massive amounts of O2?

But Kashyyk doesn't have a perfectly circular equatorial ocean? It has an equatorial ocean then bends and wraps but ultimately connects. Plenty of land "interrupts" this ocean to carry currents and interrupt wind and spread the humidity. Every image shows the equatorial ocean as more like a massive equatorial river the width of the Mediterranean or something winding around the planet. Not some perfect belt.
