I think one of the questions I am asking again- or perhaps this seems to beg?- is the difference betw " evangelism and missions"? I think my thinking is along the lines of whether the gospel "goes to the ends of the earth" by evangelism or missions?( if that makes sense?)

This was rather interesting.I have occasionally given a few thoughts to missions work but I would have to admit I am cautious in thoughts abt it. Perhaps it has to do with getting older and wiser. Gone are the days where I would do things without thinking through them.( Perhaps its a good thing in a way being naive? "They" say- I dont know if its scriptural- " God protects fools and babies"? If so,well He sure did an excellent job with me. But I believe that "with knowledge comes responsibility"?) So in thinking abt missions I know that its not a romantic endeavor but a heavy responsibility with various requirements. Needs a certain mindset. That said,I am wondering - I accept what Mr Renfroe said at the end...abt having that love- if this is something that should be a calling? Needs a " gifting" of the Holy Spirit?( perhaps that will be addressed in the next part?) Lastly, even as Pastor Gary said that last part referencing " the fields are ripe for harvesting"-and I like what was said- I also got to think of Jesus' words. "What is impossible with man is possible with God". As hard as it may seem,to get the gospel to " all ends of the earth", we know its only that. " Hard, but not impossible". "With God,all things are possible". He said it,we believe it. All glory to His name.🙌

Amen! Yes, Matthew 19:26 says, "Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

There is no excuse. God has sent the gospel to everyone. It has reached all corners of the world. With technology, cell phones, missionaries and by the world itself, everyone knows God. We are already past this point. Romans 1:19 In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. This is merely giving someone a reason to not believe.
