This is like a science lesson... Physics... Switches, shifts, pivots... If only all class was as fun as this. We'd have grade A students by the millions. Every time you teach the light bulbs ping on and on and on. It's like opening your eyes for the first time and really seeing what's happening... Seriously Coach. I appreciate all you've done for us boxing mad fans who really want to learn the game inside and out. You are really doing a great service and deserve to have 10x as many followers. Marvelous Marvin and Bud Crawford would love this lesson. 2021 is so much more bearable knowing there'll be another great lesson in a couple of days.

You should follow this up with a marvellous marvin hagler series coach he's my favourite all time fighter and he's probably the best switch hitter in boxing in my opinion his angels and switches are so seamless especially of the jab great video like always coach 👍

what a perfect time for this video. I've been searching the channel for instructions about slips and switches and suddenly this video pops into my notifications.. much appreciation for you coach 🙏🏻

Excellent drill for switch hitters. Reminiscent of the fluid stance switches that Mike Tyson used. I can punch from either stance so these drills are great to try out.

This is so slick. Tom I love how you are developing this linked group of techniques in sequence. It's such a great way to fit all the techniques together and really helps the viewer understand them. You have such a structured approach to teaching. Thanks again/as usual. I really think this recent set is your best work yet.

Tyson had some good switches like that too. Much faster and closer than a pivot. Great explanation as always.

Thank you so much for the life of me. I couldn’t understand this. I couldn’t get the hip switch movement. I was frustrated felt stupid. So I skip the week in boxing class. Instead of showing up practicing . I finally got it I’ll show my coach thank you. I saved this video I’ll practice everyday. This is the only video that helped me

Fantastic drill Sir! One thing I've noticed from outside is to keep staying in a bit closer range after every switch and shift like a inch or two closer to the oponent, puts him in perfecr position to land power punches then... Thank you for sharing. I learn boxing for years. Watching you I am realising, there's still a lot to learn. I appreciate that Sir. Many thanks. 👊🏻💯😹💯👍🏻

I am getting confused about the difference between "shifting" and "switching". I believe switching is simply changing your guard (bringing your back leg forward and viceversa) but I don`t know what "shifting" is
