Anyone notice that Coach Tom is in better shape than most fighters out there? I reckon Coach could not only teach them a trick or two but put a few in the bag also.

Always good advice with him. Great breakdowns. It's interesting he mentioned getting there first. In Fencing that's establishing priority. Your opponent is obligated to defend the attack, take control of the distance immediately and get priority back. Sorry, I don't mean to imply any value comparisons between the two, only that there are aspects of Boxing that *do* absolutely remind me of Fencing. In fact I think athletes in these 2 sports could *easily* cross over, if they have the interest. I've already done Fencing and this year I fell in love with Boxing. :) I think it's great you're training with the always talented Roy. Just amazing. Have a good time in the panhandle guys! 🙋🔥💪🥊🥇😊

Thank you, so much for this outstanding and awesome and practical punch combination (Double Jab and Straight Left Hand) Coach Tom Yankello and my fellow boxer and champion Paul “The Pittsburgh Kid” Spadafora. For me as a southpaw boxer and a switch hitter, the double jab and straight left punch combination is one of my most effective tools in my arsenal. The incorporated head feint that Paul demonstrated and the left hook variation is very beneficial to me. God bless you and thank you, Jeff “Rattlesnake” Railey 5X Champion Masters Amateur Boxer

As a southpaw, I do this move quite often but I never thought it could be set up with a feinting duck so the opponent ducks with you. Brilliant tactic. Have to try this in sparring.

Coach, I see a lot of fighters getting caught and K.O.’d with the overhand right. Could you do a video on how to defend and counter that particular punch? Thanks Coach!!
