Just finished watching the most recent video, and already there’s a new one! I’m trying to stay up to date, but it’s insane how many people participated in these atrocities

Hi @siftheadsdude. Yes, it is. Next week we will cover the Holodomor, also known as the Great Ukrainian Famine. Let us know if you liked the video, that one will be pretty tough as well ... the perpetrator ended up in a bad way (together with his family) and his victims as well ...Thank you and have a great day

@@WorldHistoryVideosOh, the Holodomor, another one of the semi-"forgotten" atrocities committed over the years, just like the Armenian Genocide.
@CriminalonCrime Жыл бұрын
It is insane, and how much recording equipment was used by the Nazis and us and how much footage survived, but yeah participation was astounding, it's always a new age cult type movement, that's how these things start.

I don't consider myself an expert on the Holocaust or WWII in general, but I do consider myself very well-read about the major players and places. One thing I sadly know very little about is the T4 program. So thank you for videos like this, which fill in those gaps in my knowledge. It's always interesting to hear of people I've never heard of. On a side note, Willig looks like he was given a bit of rough treatment by his captors. And all I have to say about that is "You should have punched harder"

The utter irony that the extremely insane Hitler wasn't killed via this program is mind-blowing.
@coling3957 Жыл бұрын
Hitler was not insane . its been a trope by some to explain his deeds. in fact he knew exactly what he was doing. even after years of his quack doctor feeding him drugs during the war ( pick me ups ) he was perfectly lucid. the same with Stalin. Hitler and him were both simply sociopaths who did not care about ppl and thought that those who did "not belong" should simply be disposed of. the shocking thing is how many medical doctors seemed perfectly happy to carry out programs that were inhuman on live subjects for experimentation and for euthanising.

@coling3957 Жыл бұрын
@@robertfolkner9253 there's always one. a false equivalency .. there was NOTHING on the Allied side remotely like what the Nazis were doing. even the Soviets were not so callous. the Japanese were , and most of their doctors in Unit 731 who committed barbarous operations on Chinese prisoners and POWs did not receive any punishment. when war ended, they killed remaining prisoners and chinese workers and hopped on a plane with all their medical files etc back to Japan

Not if they managed to fall into the hands of the Russians. But I agree, the Western Allies could sometimes be far too soft on these monsters.

Man, the part where parents sent their children to their deaths was so hard to watch…
@violette4841 Жыл бұрын
A BBC documentary talked to the Nazi nurses who helped kill the children and they said they had to follow orders. It is true that nurses have to obey the doctors and head nurses, but what an awful job to undress the children and soothe them while putting them into the gas chambers and then mailing lying letters to their parents who had no idea what happened to their children. And to sing to the babies you administered a deadly medicine to as they died. One factory worker asked other workers what they thought of smoke coming out of the chimney after busloads of children were deposited at the clinic. She was put into a concentration camp to teach her a lesson to ask disturbing questions. It makes you think about some jobs and if they are worth it. Scandinavia has euthanasia and gets rid of babies with defects. I guess it depends on who is doing it and why.
