Baaeed had a huge amount of knockers. I'll never understand why. He was a magnificent horse. In my opinion one of the all time greats.

Baaeed missed the 2yo and 3yo wars, and it seems that's one reason (not the only reason) he was undefeated so long, and why his legend grew. He's an outstanding horse, but some of the more "precocious" types are maybe just as good, and get beat during the early part of their career.

Yep very true....but He's really good because he won against really high caliber horses.... and won in superior fashion.

@@truthboy1464 He'd never run against Adayar before this. He never ran against St Mark's Basilica. He never ran against Hurricane Lane when that horse was running well (I don't think). He never ran against Alpinista. And how many of the top 3yos did he beat this year? I think his place in history is foggy. Just my opinion. And I'm not saying it's the darn horse's fault, or even the trainer and owner. It's that people have probably made him out to be more than he is.

@@darrensmith4279 Frankel would not beat Sea The Stars as Michael Kinane said Frankel could not go fast enough for him. The Faster Frankel went the better for Sea The Stars, and the time Sea The Stars Got beat Michel said it was his fault, not Sea The Stars'.
