In this video we are going to show you how to bleed the air out of a cooling system on Dodge Magnum. It will also be the same procedure for Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 since all 3 cars share the same platform. We demonstrated on a 3.5 v6 engine. However, the 2.7 and the 5.7 hemi engine might be very close procedure.
This procedure should work on:

Dont forget brother..these cars have elivated heater cores.. which means even tho the engine has full circulation of coolabt the heater core might have an air block.. that you will need yo vaccum out or use positive pressure to drive out the air pocket.. I had this problem.. i couldnt figure out why there was no heat in the cab.. but coolant was full and circulating..

Well its been 2yrs so I assume you learned how but for others who missed this info he said in video how it bleeds a heater core too by starting car with heater set on high. Keep repeating this procedure as shown until all the air bubbles are out. Make sure heater is turned "on" while bleeding your system or air gets trapped in the core. As this air pocket moves into the engine it blows head gaskets & even warps heads. Good vid but he don't stress doing this enough here imo. Thanks

Make sure heater is on when bleeding it or air stays in the heater core. These air pockets move through a system and can blow head gaskets and warp heads. Chrysler/Dodge cooling system design really sucks. They should have bleeding instruction decals under the hood so it's owners would know about it at least. People are so used to adding anti in a car then put their cap on & drive them without knowing it can let air in & create havoc. But especially in a mopar because the resivior is lower than other cars are and why you must bleed then if anti is real low before re-filling resivior. They suck!
