It's not like that once I was in puttaparthi, a urban Village in Andhra Pradesh which is frequented by lot of foreigners and I was surprised to see a fruit vendor women fold conversing in French Language with French people. And it's normal there and in hyd too i have seen taxi drivers speaking in good English though not all.

That's cause they see a lot of tourists and most of their relatives reside abroad....so foreigners aren't a new thing for them since they've seen them more often Whereas in other parts of India,since they aren't exposed to foreigners that much,you mostly get mixed reactions And in tourist spots,there tend to be lot of scamsters The key is to just embrace the foreigners and deal with them the same way the locals talk to one another..... something that's seen in kerala

That's normal here in India, We even try a slice from a sample watermelon before buying like 4-5 of them. Shopkeeper use this technique so that the customer would buy the product. Other wise he'll be in a guilt trip. MWe own a small grocery store where my father sits in his spare time, and we too use the technique. So, its ok.

Kerala people called it Jeerika Soda. It's not made from seeds that is flavour added. It made simple mixing of WATER , CARBON DIOXIDE AND FLOVOUR.. only 10 rupees ( only 0.15$)
