How’d you find Riyadh compared to the other GCC cities like Doha and Dubai ? You mentioned something very important for building modern buildings while making sure the design is authentic and has local identity which is very important for the long run.

This is a great question, I think overall (as of now) Doha and Dubai are quite a few years ahead of Riyadh in terms of infrastructure but Saudi's hefty investment per year of infrastructure will take only a few years to be caught up in terms of the offerings. Generally speaking Dubai is the first city in the middle east to dominate the the tourism space the way it has so welll already. Doha I think is still figuring out how to attract people long term (aside from the World Cup) and make it as desirable as Dubai. I think Saudi is taking some of the learnings from both of those cities and implementing them so I think Riyadh in 3-4 years will look almost unrecognizable to what I saw in this video with how much construction they are doing. I have seen some info on their mega projects, and they are impressive to say the least

At 22:00, regarding Saudi coffee, it's good manners that when you are a guest, you should stop asking for coffee after the third time. However, when you are at home with your family, you can have as much as you want. Additionally, the way to indicate that you are done with coffee (after the third time) is to shake the cup while giving it back to the person who comes to fill it for the fourth time.
