The only thing I think about Aruba is the horrible murder of Natalee Holloway and how sad it was for the parents desperately trying to find there daughter...! The system there corrupt and very poorly handle what a joke.

as an arubian the best beaches to go to are •mangel halto •rogers beach •boca catalina •tres trapi •baby beach(only the deep parts though) also it'd be better to go to the beaches when they're clean and clear, if you do take my advice i promise you it'd be the best and relaxing time you'll ever get. and in my opinion eagle beach is the worst beach on aruba, it's so dangerous and crowded and it's just not my cup of tea. whoever came here and took my advice let me know how it went

Boca Catalina and Mangel Halto were our faves. The AirBnB owner told us about both and we couldn't have been happier. We leave in 5 days to go do it all again!

believe it or not ,you can drink and drive in aruba but you cant drive drunk ,,,,,yes that is the law ... been going to aruba for the past 21 years ..... when i take the atv out i brink a cooler with drinks and stop at different beaches for a swim and a drink ,,,and just like the person that lives in aruba said ,there is alot more local beaches and hidden beaches that tourists dont go to that are so peaceful and beautiful ......

From someone who has been to Aruba over 10 times do not bring sunscreen with you. Get ILoveAruba sunscreen when you get there. it is the best sunscreen I have ever used.

The covid plan and rules for tourists was thought out and executed really well. There’s stickers everywhere, lots space for social distancing and there is lots of wind so it is super safe to go.

Most of their economy is based on tourism and it’s a small island so it does feel pretty touristy however I think you can still meet the locals with some effort

As a local, I can say we love to speak to tourists, most Arubans can speak English, so feel free to just start a conversations once your here, the people are friendly and you will get more info on the best and most chill spots to visit.
