My father took me to a Benny Goodman concert in Odessa, Texas in the 70’s or early 80’s. That was a real treat. We were both Big Band fans.

What a lovely concert! I loved the updated arrangements of some of Benny's classics. Can't get over how young the bassist and guitarist were, they look young enough to be Benny's grandsons! What a thrill it must have been for them to tour with Benny. I really love it when 2 or 3 generations of musicians play together.

When I listen to Big Bang like Benny Goodman, it is usually late at night. I can reminisce about the old times when I recall where I heard music like this. These were good memories.

Great concert. Benny is playing very well even he looks tired from the trip. The tenor saxophone is very good, but he has to put more "Flame" on his play on certain tracks. The whole thing is really enjoyable. Thank you. Krikor from L. A. CA.
