Fun fact, SpongeBob's hitbox is disabled when he uses an item so you can kinda use an item (say the jellyfishing net since its animation is the longest) as a block for enemies and bosses :D

I also got a game called pipe mania.. still know pretty sure where that one is.. also my dad once got.. well idfk what game it was my sister got all of a sudden realizing I do not recall for certain where but feels like it was at fredmyer he got my sister and a fpgame for the dsi xl.. we eacj got one for a gift suprise one time a dsi xl and Math trainer, New super mario bros, uh Brain age, Tertis Party, and Puzzlequest for my mom I recall she enjoyed that one- an also tetris party, and then I feel ph also there was a game well more like the conceptvof ebooks in what iirc was called "100 classic books" I remember joking to meh cousin once that I dudped him into for his turn when sjaring my ds witj him.. "100 classic old people books".. but wtf man now I suddenly feel old for recalling all these details.. but whatever.. anyhow yeah so there was that, and also a title called picross/picked across/picross 3d? Idk but yeah.. oh anyhow the however many years into the future it was my dad and my sister and I were at fredmyer and he bought my sister a game sje picked out and I got to pick one out also and fwiw Iirc either well had to be within 3 days prior because lmfao I never even fucking heard of it before she told me about it but glad sje did looking back "Bospwsers inside story" you can play as bowser/ya play as bowser... so fwiw I.. I still have some of a couple of titkes of thsoe listed or at least two.. the well a different copy of the mario game, and the digital included biilt in brainage math/p and the yellow one iirc is ela.. huh I think I will try an for amusement and for sake of doin it.. playing the brain age ela and math both.. an cause idk if I recall using the ela one before but.. man feels so.. cool now as a young adult the idea I imagien of.. of looking into researching ela an stuff.. :D idk just feels so.. so.. cool- just has more of an aesthetic and and unexplored or unknown element of it. And now as it is independant I can freely research what the meaning of stuff like a natural phenomenom means more than merely including a.. idfk some story in 7th grade of which I totally looling back prolly ficked up at least hopefully I got a d.. for including the hurricane or tornado iirc that carried away the villian an they were never seen nor heard from again.. but yeah lmmfao.. hehe eh.. kind of feel a lil guilty looking back to now.. realzing I never DID figure out what the concept of a natural.. or ig any other phenomenom means otherthan in the old english eupjamism of a evil smell/presence etc.. idfk but yeah.. oh and anyhow I never did finish totally.. that Bowser inside story game but I still have it., it was as a kid fairly fucking tough to quickly enough press some of the buttons for parts of it but., fwiw that makes it fun in nostalgia for how tough it was ngl. Oh and yeah that quick response thing goes into the playthroufj of Beetlejuice on gbc I watched of how fucking well.. frankly suprised as all sjit how I never guessed a old.. well establisjed I will say.. sytem had for screen response.. lol try using the dmg model for beetljuice or mario etc and see the ghosting and tell me you beat either of thsoe from how it look in the reviews on yt of those titles and dmg model. But yeah that or how a 64th second accuracy of going aroudn turns in pac,am is used to beat all 256 levels I heard.. fwiw man I never anticipate being able to beat thsoe types of games all the way fwiw ngl, hehe

I still can’t believe there exists a SpongeBob game where SpongeBob voluntarily goes to the Underworld and fights the Flying Dutchman to get a golden spatula and he’s not even creeped out about it either, lol. The dude literally falls into Hell to get treasure. It’s also the first ever SpongeBob game. I mean, who would’ve thought? Also, the music is surprisingly really good here. My favorites were the main theme, Kelpazoic Jungle, and the Dutchman’s Underworld.

I owned this game as a kid, and honestly really enjoyed it. Was it a good game? Haha, no. Did I beat it? HELL no. But I still loved it. I wouldn't stop playing it for months, even though I had to repeatedly restart. But what's important is that I had fun, even though the controls were shit.

neosaver yeah I love this game but even I can admit that is a major flaw. The music and humor of this game makes up for that in my opinion but I wish someone made a hack where the jumping was better. The problem is mostly that Spongebob falls way to fast, I'd love to see a Moon gravity hack

I really enjoy the music here. The game itself isn't bad, imo, though it would have been much better if the jumping was improved. It makes the platforming quite frustrating at times. I'm also kinda surprised how many typos there are in the dialogue for this being a Western-made game. 19:05

This was the game that made me hate platformers as a kid. Never gave the Mario games a chance because of this. Honestly, this was really entertaining to watch though. Had it not been for the god-awful platforming I'd have probably enjoyed it. There are so many references to some classic spongebob episodes in this.
