There are are better, and some on par with this one, so that would be a no. The SNES and Genesis are pretty much on par, the PS1 version does blow it away, but once the PS2 came out, you started seeing emulated versions of the game, which slaughter the 16 bit ports. The Tengen NES, SNES, and Genesis ports do have a leg up though with the turbo function, something Namco themselves never implemented, but Midway did upon releasing the game. Sadly our heroine here is in limbo, with some weird ass company owning the rights to her, so Namco can no longer release games with her in them without altering her to Pac-Mom, or they have to pay licensing fees. Of course they didn't create her, so that is kind of understandable, but Namco should've bought the rights years ago, then there'd be no issue at all.

I have this funny memory of me waking up at 11pm or 12 in the morning on a weekend at a young age around 1994-96 just to see my dad playing this on my Genesis and getting a game over just as I woke up. I grew up on classic games like this (and I'm 26 right now). Everybody should take time to play the classics. I used to see the arcade version everywhere growing up - a convenience store downtown, a barber shop in his hometown, a roller-skating ranch...everywhere. Keep up the good work. :)

It’s just hard to believe that a player like this even exists, correct?! It’s unreal. I mean has to be the best player of all time right?! I mean this guy didn’t make any mistakes. In fact, this player seems to relish just how good he/she is by showing off & getting an extremely high score. It was like an advanced A.I. was playing the game. Wow, unbelievably great!! That was cool to see how Ms Pac-Man ends. I’d never seen that before.

Did you know that _Ms. Pac-Man_ had the dubious honor of causing a fallout between its originator Namco and its then-U.S. distributor, Midway Games (then Bally/Midway Mfg. Co.)? According to KLOV (Killer List of Video Games), Ms. Pac-Man, which had originally been created from an enhancement kit for Pac-Man under the name Crazy Otto by programmers at General Computer Corporation (GCC), had not fully been created with Namco's consent (this view being disputed by GCC co-founder Doug MacRae). Neither was _Pac-Man Plus_, which had seen the light of day here seven months after Ms. Pac-Man's release, nor even _Baby Pac-Man_, _Jr. Pac-Man_ and the rather odd _Professor Pac-Man_ which ultimately led Namco to terminate its contract with Midway in 1984. Something is not quite right- this person is way too good at this!! I've beat this game countless times and there is no way you don't die at least three times before the 10- 15th level. It's almost like the computer is playing the game. Nonetheless, I truly have enjoyed watching this! Definitely brought back memories.

Ehhh no, the NES, SNES, and Genesis ports are all pretty much straight on point, same options and everything within them. Those are your 3 best homeports, beaten out by emulated versions released later on on the PS2 and later consoles, till Namco lost the rights to the character. It's why Pac-Mom exists now.

Oh, I hope they have a stable emulator for the Tengen version, for Windows and Android. I had the Sega Genesis (aka Mega Drive) 20 years ago; and of all the clones I have seen AND played (including the original, since March 1982), the Genesis/Mega Drive Tengen version is the most vicious. That pink monster is as fast as the coin-op red monster; which makes the red monster extremely deadly even if it is 3 lengths behind you.
