I remember almost beating the whole game with a regular controller. I blew up the Totaku... and I got hit by the explosion debris (Yeah, those things CAN hit you). I have not touched the game since. Whoever put this in the game should be hung.

I only managed to beat this game modifying the stats and damage in the game, since its really punishing even the enemy bullet damage becomes ridiculous so as collision damage and these small planes spawn at the back deals so unnecessary amount of damage Using 1943 editor I'm able to balance the game's unforgiving progression system
