This is my favorite Sonic game on Megadrive. I've finished it dozens of times and I'll play it again, everything is good in this game, the music, the atmosphere, the graphics, the fun.

I was surprised by the 16-bit 3d models sonic and tails had right there. That was 1992. Shortly before Donkey Kong Country game out, and then super mario 64.

In fact there is a HD port version in Android of the sega forever collection with very similar graphics to mania. Is free with add and you can pay to eliminate it. Also works with controller.

Also this port where made by the people behind sonic manía and has a little more content. You can play it via Android emulation with a controller and disabling on screen control, I recommend using a adblocker like AdClear.

Hands down... One of the best Sonic games of all times. I remember spending hours with this one. My favorite tune was and still is the Chemical Plant. Feelin' all nostalgic now. Thanks for uploading this walkthrough, fella.

Doing all special stages in one run takes a while, especially since you need to collect 50 rings for each. You're probably used to speedruns or casual playthroughs that take the shortest path through every zone.

I've been impressed for noticing that the game lacks the "Try again" message used after the player completes the game without collecting all of the emeralds. They forgot to add it after the credits as a replacement for the game's title that was supposed to appear only on the good ending.

The trick is not to play the game with Tails so you don't have him in the Special Stages.

Actually there's the seventh bonus stage in zone 2 of the first stage world so you can be on the first boss already as Super Sonic

Chemical Plant zone and Oil Ocean zone are ma favourite stages with their great theme 👍. The final three stages(Wing Fortress Zone+Dead Egg Zone) are great too 👍. Dr.Eggman is getting more creative in this game more design for his machines plus an awesome Mecha Sonic Mark 1🤣🤣🤣. Enjoyable playthrough by RickyC and great Sonic 2 video from World of Longplays youtuber 👍.

This player is no doubt a pro pro but also lucked out . Tails almost hosed him a few times. I still think giving tales a counter was dumb. Yeah kids this is Joey had to play it. U had to play it safe and get the emeralds as soon as possible lol. Also good players are rewarded by constant speed. Bet this dude never hits the lower paths.
