Titanium stands for: exclusive, noble and timeless. Andreas Kirschner, head of the company Falkenjagd, has dedicated himself to the development and construction of titanium bikes since 2005. Like no other manufacturer he dedicates himself to this material and spares no effort and high tooling costs to perfectly implement every detail and all current standards. For the Hoplit MTB Hardtail frame he even had extra tools made, which were provided to the tube manufacturer. Few if any manufacturers spend this kind of effort. The Hoplit RS model is the sporty titanium mountain bike hardtail from Falkenjagd. You can ride the bike with 29" Wheels front and rear, or also us a setup with 27,5"x2,6-2,8" tires. The geometry ist optimized for a suspension fork with 100-120mm of travel.
The frame is extremely robust compared to carbon frames and can withstand the toughest racing use as well as the use on bike trips with heavy luggage. This dream bike we have built as a touring bike with a super noble and stable carrier made of titanium (also from Falkenjagd) combined with waterproof panniers from Ortlieb. Have fun with the video.

Wie kein anderer Herstellerbeschäftigt er sich mit diesem Material und scheut keine Mühen und hohe Werkzeugkosten, um jedes Detail und alle gängigen Standards perfekt umzusetzen. Für den Hoplit MTB Hardtail Rahmen ließ er sogar extra Werkzeuge anfertigen, die dem Rohrhersteller zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Nur wenige Hersteller betreiben einen solchen Aufwand. Das Modell Hoplit RS ist das sportliche Titan-Mountainbike-Hardtail von Falkenjagd. Sie können das Rad mit 29" Laufrädern vorne und hinten fahren, oder auch ein Setup mit 27,5 "x2,6-2,8" Reifen verwenden. Die Geometrie ist optimiert für eine Federgabel mit 100-120mm Federweg.
Der Rahmen ist im Vergleich zu Carbonrahmen extrem robust und hält sowohl dem härtesten Renneinsatz als auch dem Einsatz auf Radtouren mit schwerem Gepäck stand. Dieses Traumrad haben wir als Tourenrad mit einem super edlen und stabilen Gepäckträger aus Titan (ebenfalls von Falkenjagd) kombiniert mit wasserdichten Packtaschen von Ortlieb gebaut. Auch wenn zweifelsfrei selbst der Gepäckträger highend edel ist, hättest du das Rad zwischenzeitlich auch ohne ihn, zumindest mal kurz präsentieren können. Und auf ein Reiserad gehört ein Brooks😉😀Ansonsten Gänsehaut pur durchweg.👏

@@cem-session Yes, I was lucky and got it last Friday. The documents accompanying the bike clearly indicate that the assembly started in September and, as I guess, was on hold whenever a part went out of stock. I tried to get some of these parts on my own for another bike and know that many of them were not deliverable in the last months (e.g. Spurcycle bell, Brooks saddle).

traumhaftes video, danke. irgendwann mal...................nur ein titanrahmen mit ner hope hat keine xt verdient. da muß was edleres dran, grad die kurbel macht vieles aus. dropper post beim reiserad? hope bremse und keine hope scheiben dazu, jehova........... so genug gemeckert, macht weiter so. mfg

ich hab das bike mit titanstarrgabel. mit hope bremsschreiben. tune naben,sram xx1… Stahlflexleitungen… hab ne titankurbel dran gemacht von cane creek. den gepäckträger fahr ich zur zeit nicht. ich muss das bike mal putzen und n video hochladen. da ist fast alles aus titan sogar die schrauben🤘

Awesome build, it is a dream for bikepacking. I'm only concern about the brakes, for a bike like that i wouldn't choose a hope brakes, i would go with the faithful shimano mt200 brakes that you probably can repair in any part of the world

Ich bin mit meinem eigenen FJ öfters am Goaßkopf, wie auch letztes Wochenende. Mein Bike ist aber schon ein paar Jährchen älter und hat noch eine 100er SID und kein Boost. Vielleicht sieht man sich ja mal.

Wurde hier ein standard Hinterrad verbaut? Soweit ich weiß nutzt FJ einen asymmetrischen Hinterbau, der durch ein symmetrisch eingespeichtes Hinterrad wieder ausgeglichen wird. Weshalb normale Laufradsätze nicht in der Spur laufen. Oder liege ich hier falsch? Das hat mich immer abgehalten ein Hoplit zu kaufen.
