@@albertocedeno5490 I don’t actually think Levan has stronger back pressure than Denis, and while he is heavier, a lot of that is height difference and fat. Technique is also really debatable, Denis has excellent technique but fights very differently. Would be an amazing fight regardless

A true show of how strength left the sport to usher in the new generation of arm wrestling athletes from the younger crowd... You go from Devon Larratt, to John brzenk, to Dennis Cyplenkov. Also amazing how John Brzenk dwarfed Devon and Cyplenkov dwarfed Devon, then Devon did it back to John as John got too old and now Devon suffered the same humiliation from Levan as John did from him at KOTT.

He's seriously the guy who inspired me the most to get into armwrestling. He was doing feats of strength that you just don't expect from the look of him. I mean, he was muscular all over for sure. But when someone like Cyplenkov does amazing feats of strength, it's sort of to be expected. Also he's someone, for some reason, that I think would have been a good friend of mine. I don't know how you can just tell from watching a few videos of him. But I think he was a great human being as well as an armwrestler.

Genetics + I think he pushes himself with tabletime practice more than people work with weights and pushing big numbers. I find I can push myself way more on the table than just lifting weights. And if he's been able to pull more, and recover properly and quickly, then it's no wonder his strength grew to what it was and still is.
