Thanks very much for this. Tapping the power button was enough, and I cleaned the phone and shell case very thoroughly. It worked immediately. Lesson learned - these shell cases do encourage more dirt to hang about, so I'll take it off more often and clean away any debris.

Another phone saved by this video! TCL 20 pro 5G. The tapping of power button & massage did the trick for me. Thanks a lot! Ps: And it booted again upon entering the home screen...😢 Pps: In entered the home screen again after I put it in the fridge but booted out again. I noticed that the battery showed 0% while in fact it still has around 60%. Ppps: I put it in the fridge, waited a few minutes, turned it on while plugged in. Needed several tries to get into the home screen. I saw a widget was loading & I thought that could be the problem & immediately removed it before my phone rebooted again. It's been a few hours now & it seems my phone is fixed. So here's hoping & thank you again!

Hi - I'm having a weird problem with my TCL 30. I've had about 2 of these and never had this new problem before. Whenever I drive out of my Tower area, like another area in NJ, about an hour away, when I drive back to my home area, my phone basically factory resets itself and ALL my Apps icons, page layouts get wiped out and some weird Apps that come with the phone get put in place. My Apps are all in the Drawer but I basically have to re set up my Home screen Apps and all the other pages too! This is driving me Crazy, I've Never had this problem before! Has anyone else had this problem! This phone is driving me crazy, I can't re setup my App pages every day. It's like it re-syncs with the Network, but wipes everything out. Please help if you can. I'm afraid to buy another one of these stupid phones.
