I literally had to force restart my phone like 8 times and massage it like 7 for it to actually turn back on. this is it for me. I am going back to androids i cant with iphones i think after dealing with this I need therapy and anger management. I've never cursed so much in my life. it happened right in the middle of an important call too. The massage method worked for me. My iPhone was water damaged and the Face ID did not work for a long time. I have had a boot loop problem a few times and this time was about 3 hours straight. The better solution is actually to Enter Recovery Mode, & Update Your Ios through itunes on PC/Mac (Do not restore, or you will lose all your files) You may encounter an error message that it failed to update due to a unknown error, Don't worry if that happens, it's normal, you need to try until it works, & don't give up easily, it took me around 13 tries to recover my phone (didn't even take a day) Note that, during all my 13 tries, i give myself a break for like few hours every few tries, take a break like every 4-5 tries, trust me, it will eventually update Note 2: Entering Recovery mode is not easy either, don't give up & try it several times until it works

Wow!!! I had issue with Apple Logo Off and On Loop. Troubleshot it for 4+ hours and eventually ran into your channel. I tried your 3 approaches about 5 times and no success. I went thru some additional iterations and after continuously pressing the power button the phone booted back up. I believe the power button is lodged which does not allow the phone to properly boot up, the recommendation to continuously press the button I believe did the trick. Don’t lose hope guys! I tried for like 4 times, it did shut down but is not turning on properly, I even got the ios reset option popping up but I kept trying. For me, what worked is after shutting it down (black screen), let it rest a little bit maybe say 10 minutes. Then try turning it on. I did this twice and it worked. Good luck!

I literally cannot believe this worked…My iPhone X randomly shut off and was stuck in an endless boot loop, but my buttons don’t work so I couldn’t even force restart. Apple store told me it was fried and there was no chance for data recovery. I had countless irreplaceable pictures of my babies on there and I was about to send it to a high tech data recovery service for $600… then I tried the massage method thinking what do I have to lose? And sure enough 8 hours after I tried that it booted up and just about everything seems in tact. It’s backing up now and I have learned my lesson about why it’s worth it to pay for ICloud backups. THE SOLUTION TO THIS IS AN APPLE 20W USB-C Adapter! The difference between the regular and the USB-C is the Watts. Because a regular adapter is only 5 watts, it doesn't circuit enough power for the iphone x to turn on. However, the USB-C is circuiting 4x the power giving it enough watts to startup your phone up. 😝 I promise it works, just ask your local best buy for a USB-C adapter !

I don't know how, but after messing around with this for 30 minutes (restarting using the volume buttons) and pressing hard on the front and back, it randomly started again. I hope it keeps working now. Lesson learned: don't go swimming with a crack in the iPhone backside :-D

What worked for me was hitting the back of my phone repeatedly, then squeezed/massaged the phone like you show and heard a cracking of the phone almost like your knuckles cracking. Had it on the charger the whole time and then held the power up and lock button and boom! Worked. Don’t know how long this solution will last but thank you!

hi you’re the most recent comment that i could find, how many times did you have to try these steps before it worked? mine is also just stuck on the logo but will very occasionally go to the black screen before showing the logo again. i’ve tried all these steps 6 times so far and i’m gonna keep trying but everyone else seems to have had it work after the first few.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I recently got a new iPhone 13 and was trying to reset my iPhone XR to factory settings so I could send it back to T-Mobile and get my trade in discount. Well, my phone got stuck in this never-ending boot loop for HOURS and would not reset. I tried so many times to hard restart my phone and nothing was working. It would restart and then go right back to a black screen with the Apple logo. Looked up a bunch of videos on KZbin and still nothing was working. Phone was constantly restarting itself before it even got to erase the data from the phone. Found this guy and voila! On the FIRST try of making it through the three steps, my phone restarted and I was finally able to get to the Home Screen! I think it was the massaging the battery that really helped. Never would’ve guessed, but I probably should’ve since I’ve dropped my phone a hundred thousand times and something was probably loose on the inside. Anyway thank you SO much. I was ready to admit defeat and just not get my money for this trade in since I couldn’t reset it. After trying this method, on the first try my phone was able to set to factory settings! You are a life saver.
