I have to admit that when Badger was first talking about putting the windows here, there and everywhere, I just couldn't picture what it was going to look like, but it is absolutely stunning. Oh my word, the girl's delight with the fairy gifts was so sweet. New subscriber from Gabriola Island, BC, Canada. We have a little Canadian fairy forest here too with a pool, a little house, a red bridge, a bird bath, a laundry line, and a door and window into a mossy stump with solar fairy lights. We can see it from the back window of our living room and it's absolutely magical at night. Our Canadian fairies send their love to your Portuguese fairies! Your outdoor kitchen and dining/lounge area is INCREDIBLE! I love your style... Cool fact... when I was 5 and my brother was 2 (early 1980's) my dad converted a big green school bus and we drove from Ottawa to Calgary in Canada and lived in it until the bus died. Some of my fondest childhood memories are lying in our bunk beds at the back of the bus listening to my dad play his guitar by candlelight as I fell asleep.

I love the kitchen! The children will have such happy memories of eating all your homemade treats in that space. A lady at my work (preschool) brought in a bag of moss and I was telling her about your fairy house, and so on Friday we used it to create an area under the wooden fort by adding two small wooden fairy houses onto the sandstone ledge, and other bits and pieces for the children to use and put together. Hello from Pennsylvania in the USA. Here In America the old farmsteads had what we called a summer kitchen. They had one solid wall for the stove and flue. The other three walls you could open them up at the half way mark to allow for airflow. Your outdoor kitchen is absolutely beautiful and it looks so welcoming at night with the lights.

I can so relate to your joy with this out kitchen/living! I must have been 9 or 10 , was living in the south of France near an abandonned ground. There was an old container which probably had been some office for workers. I cleaned it, found some sits from an old citroen, a few wooden boxes , and a jam pot with plucked wild flowers...I felt so happy. I lived in a few countries and comfortable houses but never had that intense happiness I felt then. Great video as usual...

Your kitchen looks amazing! One thing you might want to do is put any boxed or grainy foods into beautiful glass jars - it will keep the "open-plan" bugs and mice out of your food stores!! Speaking from experience... we had an invasion of kitchen moths during the 2020 lockdown, and I bought every jar available in our local grocer's (who caught on to a good thing, and had a large-jar sale soon after - and I bought them out!). We now keep ALL foods in jars. It looks gorgeous, you know exactly what you've got, and it keeps them dry and pest-free...
