It is just about time until they reveal the pakistani cards in hand. They are all great players, but hate when players undermine Koreans just because a new nation came in and won a few tournaments. Especially someone like TMM is at no level criticizing ALL Korean gameplay style in Tekken... remember, there is always that Asian.

To be fair Awais dropped a lot of combos and uncharacteristically didn't get many throw breaks. Atif Butt absolutely destroyed Jon in the final that happened after this match.

Trust me the players you are watching are not even the best in Pakistan, i know players in Pakistan who will challenge you playing with single hand literally...that is why a guy like Arslan Ash and Atif but says that in Pakistan they hardly make out of pools.....the players you are seeing are only from the families who can afford these gaming systems and travelling etc, their are tons of others who leave and start working to help there families financially.

Most of the options come out in 17-18 frames, which most people consider to be well under the limits of a seeable move. I'd argue that you can possibly react to to it if you've labbed it heavily enough but it's pushing human limits.

There should be more tournaments in South America. We defeated Saint/JDCR in 2017 (you remember dragunov/jack) and more koreans in 2 tournaments this year

Lol. No jdcr won the tekken collision over saint at 2017 in peru. You are talking about tt2 In which jdcr complain about the tournament condition. But Peru organizers did improve the condition in 2017. Jdcr at tekken 7 has not lost to Peru players.

I feel like an old man who doesn’t expect much from players who never set foot in an arcade. That’s why I always held such high regard for Korean players, they were still going to the arcades and trading blows even when people were going online to get competition.

New tekken player here with a dumb question. Why is marduks tackle so good? The animation is obvious unlike giant swing so its not a visual mixup. Is it just a really tight break? It seems to land alot more than other throws do, is honey just bad at throw breaks?

I think it’s a just frame 1+2 break. If he does land it, the breaks are 1, 2, 1+2 or neutral break depending on what move he does.

It's incredibly awkward. Someone once said a good marduk player hardly uses the tackle. In reality a good marduk player pressure with the tackle and the threat of the tackle at all times.

The Jon's Marduk is pretty damn good. He completely WASHED Super Akouma in a FT10. That shit was so free it was boring. It was like watching an infant crawl for the 1st time. He was basically a deer in the headlights... no idea what to do. Watching The Jon beat the breaks off any Akuma is amazing. I don't hate Akuma, I just get bored of watching Akuma vs Akuma. Hopefull they nerf his meter gain and leave the absurd damage.

Best Marduk player in the world for sure (as far as evidence). But I don't yet think he's better than the known top players, particularly from Japan and Korea. He just knows the Akuma matchup too well, which surprises nobody. Pakistan is Akuma land and nothing else comes even close.

I guess Akuma will get a meter nerf like Geese in the next patch, not much more than that. A major nerf could come after TWT Finals. BTW not only players from Pakistan immediately realized that Akuma was broken as fuck. Alot of "scrubs" in the west also said he was broken (already in season 1) while western "pros" placed him in mid tiers in their tier lists LOL

look how many times he dropped the combo, if the execution was easier like the rest of the cast he probably would have won. Other characters have easy execution in comparison. When do u see other pro players drop max damage combos, not as often? Imagine how annoying it must be to lose because your character has 1000 times harder execution that the rest of the cast LOL. Nerf his combo dmg and make akumas execution easier and balance the damage around the execution :)
