The verge is basically a free inclusion as it's equal to a swamp in most cases, but the most common usage at Worlds was to activate the ability of a stolen Hired Claw, I believe!

I’ve been playing the Mono black version. Loving it. Might have to add Sandstorm Verge instead of Mishra’s Workshop.

The verge must be a remnant from a previous iteration of this deck which included high noon. There's no reason to have it with this deck build though, it's just a swamp with extra text here.

If you use the Adventure on Sell-Sword to make the Slasher damage the opponent it won’t count for Slasher's ability, so I have no clue about what is thar land there for…
