could bet that the starter carbon brushs are gone. had this issue on L5 ED-20 and L7 EJ-DE engines before with the same clicking issue.

Wack it with a hammer. Amazing how many starters that fixes. Either that or their jump pack isn't charged. Enough power to click the solenoid but not spin the starter.

Hey I have been watching your stuff for over 10 years and it's just my favorite car content. Tried watching Ford vs Ferrari last night, but rather than watching a bunch of actors faking their love for cars that don't exist on a fake greenscreen, I just ended up watching part 2 of this series. It's a million times better, and the feature films are something I go back to when I want inspiration for some amazing car adventures. Unless they're NOT massive legends it was overloaded. 150kg max load. My midget runs and has a substantially higher top speed than stock, so may well be the fastest midget in the world unless these videos are weeks behind reality ;-)

Looping heater hoses is a dangerous game! Coolant circulates without being cooled by a radiator or heater core. Gotta cap them or make the looped hose not flow. 👌🏻

As an electrician, I can say that the situation at the end of the video requires the properly calibrated, professional, whack. An uncalibrated or random whack can result in injury, so make sure the tool using the tool is properly trained and certified in tactical whacking.

If I'm not mistaken, that blue plug from the wiring goes to a connector under the dash that connects to a speaker that plays all the warning tones (like having keys in the ignition and opening your door, forgetting your handbrake etc) or beeping when the vehicle gets put in reverse. Funny enough it doesn't beep when you forget your lights on, so I just keep it unplugged in mine! :)
