So I bought the the antique silver classic. It was the first Zippo I purchased. I grew up around smokers so I knew them fairly well but never really paid attention to them. I actually bought one simply for the smell of the fuel and to have a o lid lighter around the house. The classic I bought was actually tight fitting. Insert and lid when it closed. I tried some tricks and was faced with struggle. I was successful but didn’t realize that I was working harder than normal until,I bought a few more. Got a 41 replica and a few solid brass Zippos. After getting those I was amazed at how easy the tricks were. I bought an Armor antique silver and have not looked back. It fits all my inserts from the standard all the way to the arc insert. My favorite is still the original because the flame is nice and high. I have the butane torch and the yellow flame butane which is great since it holds fuel for so long. Thanks for your videos. They helped me select the best inserts and Zippos.

Using it everyday , with that insert , in Canada , I know your not gonna use it outside with the butane insert , I give it till January, nice zippo , even better with the 4 barrel, Jb is pretty good stuff hope it lasts longer!!

Besides soldering and glueing you can also try spot weld it with 12 car battery pack and two pices of solid copper wire there is bunch of videos on yt how to do it usually this method is used to weld 18650 batteries but i think it could work on zippo
