Great break, last I surfed it in 2006 with only 15 others in the water with a hangover. Probably a bit more in the water these days but wouldn’t imagine it would be like Tea Tree or Snapper Rocks. Works best on ENE swell and in Cyclone season but when it’s on, it’s on.

Went pretty much every weekend for a couple of years. That's better than I ever saw it personally but had some great days still. Back then if eight people were in the line-up it was a crowd. And no hassle. It's a fucking zoo now. Wild horses couldn't drag me back there.

I took the trip once. Slightly onshore, I would jump into the water and if I did not catch a wave within 20 seconds I would be swept out of the take off area come out of the water 300m down the beach, run 1/2km back jump in 200m outside the take off area and try again - never to succeed. But it looked nothing like this and was nearer the point proper which was less bad that day than this beach area.

wtf are you on about? Birds nest below the high water mark do they? By all means call out the morons who needlessly drive through undisturbed dunes, but there wasn't one vehicle in this video above the high tide line. FYI there are regulations where you can and can't drive and National Parks will fence off nesting locations that experience decent traffic.

@@timxvx really, really Tim. After 2 years you have a dialed in that the entire Australian Surfer population doesn't give a s*** about the ocean or keeping our ocean clean. You've got to be from LA or somewhere inland and have been surfing for less than 5 years. I know Australians that if you were to sit down and talk to they would squash you like a bug for treating them with the disrespect per your comment. I hope you change your mindset and when you get down to the nitty gritty you'll change
