The times that I bulked up the most and cut the most was when I was working hard on biking/rollerblading and a like a god damn 1920's strength training routine. Like eating what you want and as much as you would like trying to peak your calories just causes you to become a bigger human and that kinda mass lets you lift more without feeling like paper.

not really, rice and pasta are fucking cheap and are a massive part of some of their diets. the protein powder, creatine, tabs, vitamins are the more expensive part. easily $500-$600 just for that each month. rice/pasta for a week maybe $30, meat around $100 per week, veg and fillers maybe $25. once they reach a point in their career (after they win something big) they get sponsorships that provide them with the major stuff like meat and their supplements. somewhere around $1200 per month just for body fuel. I think Eddie was spending nearly $1600, he had to work 2 jobs just to pay for his monthly food cost.
