Big fan of WWN as a 2D or 3d game. For a fantasy system that might lend itself to 4D easier, although the combat can be a little heavy at first, Mythras is top notch. Runequest/CoC like skill based d100 system with hit locations and fairly gritty fights. Magic also has 5 different systems that can be tweaked, removed or used as desired.
