Delighted for John Higgins making this epic clearance, retaining his Top 16 spot ...& into another Crucible QF (his 18th !). This match will go down in the annals. Words like classic and great are bandied around far too much but this was absolutely captivating. Even by John's standards, that's an outrageous clearance. The double to start it off, the last red near the top cushion, not to mention all the permutations that if he'd lost he was out the top 16. That's up there with the one he made to win the Masters against O'Sullivan in 2006, arguably even better given the circumstances.
