Great content on proper heat control. Injection pouring and open pouring are a completely different process and I see so many not understanding proper temp control when using open pour molds. Great video man🤙

I swear every time I watch your videos I learn 15 new things. Such great content. I went the “cheap” way to try and get into the hobby to make sure I was going to like it and got a FusionX kit with the stone (I think?) molds and I tried 20 times and couldn’t get it to fill, kept shooting hollow. So I gave up and bought a few silicon hand pours I’m waiting to arrive. Maybe you could do a series on testing/demonstrating the “starter kits” on the market? I would think (hope 🤣) I’m not the only one who couldn’t figure out the starter kits. Stay warm!

Very informative Chris! I really enjoyed learning about how the baits are put together and how the chemical bonding works. I feel it will help me identify baits that were made that didn’t get the correct temperature for the bonding to occur. Hi Chris, been injecting for a few years. Just got my first hand pour molds per request of a customer. He wants mainly single color finesse worms and fish Dr or French fry style baits. No swim baits yet. Is temp management just as critical on these simpler style baits. Learned so much from you. No rush to answer still 50° too cold to go to the garage in MO. LOL.

Do you see any bait fish Have any straight lines on them They do not have straight lines. That's why you want to make your soft plastic bait. The same way as a real bait fish. What you see in water. Or in your bait live well tank

Of course... But look at the lateral line on many species of forage fish... The vein colorr we do as bait makers mimics that..and you want even & smoothe application of color..the results speak for themselves

@@WorldsWorstFishing is there any real proof on actually catching fish? That would be a great resource to read up on. Your work is amazing looking, but as a for-self-silicone-open-pour-guy I question if the level of consistency/straightness, exact hue, etc. makes much difference in use. General color, layers, sure. I feel it is likely a lot more to catch the fisherman than the fish. But as a baitmaker/seller no doubt your level of quality is required. Looks great!
@WorldsWorstFishing
@WorldsWorstFishing 5 ай бұрын
@timbridwell4954 in order to catch the fish you must first catch the fisherman...so why would that be a bad thing? A bait is only as good as the level of confidence an angler has in it...so why wouldn't a bait maker do the best job he or she could? 👍
@timb426
@timb426 5 ай бұрын
@@WorldsWorstFishing I'm not dissing your process at all, you sell these, I would expect this level of quality. As a private maker, I just doubt that level is really important when it comes to catching fish. As long as it stays laminated, has close to bait colors and action, then its all good. Best a silicone guy can do is different than best a cnc aluminum guy can do. 👍
