Great fight by the indian player! Better player won but it could have gone either way! Indian men table tennis is lacking behind the women's it seems.
@kevins96884 ай бұрын
Indian women are all using long pips. Seems like lack of power in womens game seems to work in favor of use of pips. Pips dont work in mens table tennis where men are lot more powerful. Cant survive on blocks in mens game.

Well Played Sreeja. I would like to see her smashing with back hand as well. Haven't seen Manika back hand smash either. Is that hard to do with long pips or something?

Although far from Sun Yingsha's level, Akula resembles some of Sun's critical thinking skills.
At 8:8 in the final game I thought Akula's going to win

That only if Akula got three edge balls in a row. Any sports, experiences win close games. At 8:8 in the final game, Akula was a lost puppy or a deer in headlights.

In the last game Akula was lucky to have an edge ball in the decisive point which would possibly help her to win, but Wang had strong mind to pull herself together and win the match
lol by that logic your champions will not be able to clear first round. "weirdo"

seems the long pips is good at spins,but poor control on forces. whenever wang hits harder, indian can not return.

It seems weird that the winner of each game is on left side of table!😇Since Wang Manyu luckily started from left side of the table, she won the game 3:2. Poor Sreeja ...

Tell her to win the first game in the future. Getting close is easy; winning is a long way to go. In any sport, experience wins close games. At 8:8 in the final game, Akula was like a lost puppy or a deer in headlights unless Akula got three edge balls in a row.

I wish Sreeja can practice dropping back to play like a chopper to give herself more options, for when she gets pushed back, or when things don't work out well close to the table.
@Ragameiste10 ай бұрын
Chopping is much harder for women because of lack of mobility. Also such tendencies lead to bad habits like always wanting to go back to gain time.
@nhatnamtrinh501710 ай бұрын
@@Ragameiste Some points: 1. There are high-level female choppers. 2. I don't suggest that she becomes a full-time chopper. I suggest that she trains to chop for when chopping is called for, e.g. when she gets pushed far from the table. Moreover, people will get used to her current style, so having chopping skill to have variation in her game is a good thing. 3. Conversely, I would suggest full-time choppers to learn her style. Why? Same idea: To have variation in their game.
