Liang Jingkun has dug deep, just like against Wang Chuqin, but in the last two sets Lin was way too fast for him to handle! But he still reached the final by beating the world no. 1, remarkable run!👏

Wow super game, cant remember the last time a match made me grin while watching. LJK was on fire this match and tournament. Makes sense he took out WCQ. But whats more incredible is by about game 5 LSD adapted to LJKs speed and power and was reading him like a book even tho he was playing incredibly. LSD on this trajectory looks unstoppable, gratz 🎉

Ma Long is already out of his prime, there was no point for him to continue. as for Fan Zhendong he's a recent Olympic gold medalist in singles and still 28 years old the same age as Liang Jingkun which makes no sense for him to forfeit from the ranking system. Ma long already has nothing to prove, played too many tournaments and won too many. At his age of 36 years old it doesn't make sense to continue playing WTT tournaments anyway. As for attraction towards Table tennis, it's still the same with the new tournaments such as Smash and Champions titles, more people are watching than ever. No one is losing sleep over other players retiring mate, the game is in good hands with the likes of Lin Shidong and Wang Chuqin in males plus other international players like Harimoto, Lebrun brothers, Truls, etc. are making the game more known internationally rather than being known to Asians only. on the other hand, no one losing sleep over Chen Meng forfeiting from ranking system as well. Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, Kuai Man, Chen Xingtong,etc.. are dominating the females table tennis anyway. So, you're just delusional thinking that the game lost its "impeccable power and attraction".
