Damnnnnn I wanted Timo to win this match so bad!!! I can't even remember how long it has been that Timo fighting for the decider game against FZD.. I remember almost every match was like 4:1. This was truely outstanding and a close match, but I cannot help feeling so bad that Timo lost the match although there was a chance for him, also almost lost his opportunity to beat FZD until his retirement, battle like this would be barely possible..

In the last game, at 11-10, Boll missed his chance. That was a tricky shot with a bunch of side-spins but it was a hittable ball. Timo for once in this match was timid with hesitation.

It was very close. FZD saved 2 match points. Sometimes it's called luck. FZD needs to prove himself for being considered as a candidate for the 2020 Olympics. He did a good job and saved his position. Tomorrow, he is going to beat Zhao Zihao to be the winner of this Platinum Open.

Time and again Timo reminds me that against all odds, you can still fight against any opponent. This guy has given his all to the sport for God knows how many years. He has been the bastion of European tennis and still is the best there despite all these youngsters coming up. He played with Waldner, Ma Lin, Ma Long and today FZD. We don't deserve this man.
