Well Cook's style is actually considered "old school" so its actually outdated. He has a disadvantage with tall lengthy fighters when he spins

Being in TKD for 40 years I just can´t help feeling sad looking whow the rules and electronics evolve in favor of these long legged guys with their faint feather touchs against the force and fantastic technique of guys like Cook, Mahdi maybe an uncontested champion in this world dominated by anatomy over courage and spirit but cerntainly he doesn´t inspire respect

Yeah both he and Aaron Cook lost. I was a bit sad that Aaron didn't at least make it to the later rounds. But the final was quite awesome, with the Ivory Coast guy winning in the last second.
