Are you saying 10% increase over 1 month (so 1 month to get to 10%)? Or just 10% from the start for 1 month? Also I am using Gen4 xr15s with the WXM on the apex. To change the spectrum from AB which I am on, to 5-6 hrs of full spec and the remaining time to blue, do I turn down Red, Green, Royal Blue, UV and V to zero? So its only Blue? Or do I leave Royal Blue and UV? Thanks in advance.

TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SPECTRUM YOUR LIGHT FIXTURE HAVE TO DELIVERY...ONE MUST STUDY DANA RIDLEY ARTICLE......but PAR shoul de above 180 ......and less than 400nm......less than 180 the thing do not start,......above 400nm the thing stops......best PAR is between 200-350 micromols.....and the SPECTRUM depends on construction of the light fixture.....Orphek Atlantik V 4 maybe is the only that fits Dana Ridley article....

I have 4 xo blue strips and 2 Radions over a 120. I found the 4 blue strips put out way more light than I realized. I now run them on setting 3 out of 6 with the Radions at around 43% max with the regular blues turned down on Radions. Corals doing much better. I didn’t realize how much I was blasting them. Par meter verified this change.

Wouldn't it be great if lighting apps were thoroughly explained by BRS? Read the manual isn't always bringing the answers. I went from Radio to ATI Straton Flex which is a great lamp, but man, this app..... I've had this experience with other apps as well, the producers try to make a video in which they explain their lamps and apps but aren't so well at explaining ....in great detail. After watching this I definitely think I'm under lighting my tank... I have just a golden rod anacorpora & some kind of green acro that ended up browning out. I have a standard 75 gallon tank with 1 xr15 G6, 8 inches off the water, somewhat centered. 60% schedule intensity, 75% intensity(4hrs) 30 min ramp down to 60% intensity (6) .. 30 min ramp ups & downs all blue at end of schedule.. 100% on all blues/royals/UV/, 24%reds, 60% warm white, 100% cool white.. no algae at all besides the lil dust on the glass if I don't scrape it for 3-4 days... I want to add another XR15 G6 when I can afford it.

What, if anything, do you do differently (spectrum, photoperiod, etc) between different tank/coral types? I mean, obviously the total PAR needs are different, but what do you do differently lighting an LPS tank than you do lighting an SPS tank? Less white for LPS? Shorter photoperiod?
