Not only do you have immense talent in throwing a dart to give an accurate assessment, but you go in depth to the level we all want and you don’t pull any punches when it comes to valid criticism. The great thing with Worldwide is due to his size, his channel is going to pop up first when you search for these darts - certainly going to put off potential buyers which Target will no doubt get wind of! It’s not acceptable when darts cost a stupid amount of money these days

Another HONEST review. You had the "child on Christmas morning" energy at the beginning of the video. Came down a notch when you weighed them.... a little more when you found the raised portion, and the 'Christmas Vacation' jelly-of-the-month club bonus at the odd ball finish of the darts. Disappointing, I am sure but maybe Target will do the right thing. Keep up the good work sir.

Thanks for the comment Jeffrey. you're right. I was excited to review these. I thought, and still think they look absolutely incredible but it's hard to overlook the quality especially when paying a premium for them. What's even more frustrating is that the RvB 95 darts I reviewed were PERFECT. Their QC is either hit or miss with not much middle ground at all. I also think what sets this channel apart is that I BUY the darts I review. So we're more apt to see these QC issues. If Target is sending out free darts for other channels to review then of course they will send out their best possible examples. Doing that turns the videos into nothing more than commercials at best.

Thanks for the review, as a massive Target Darts fan i was shocked by the lack of quality control from Target. My nearest dart shop here in the UK is 25 miles away and rely on good people like yourself giving honest quality reviews. Was going to look at purchasing these for my collection but may just hold off before having physically seen and weighed them. Hope Target sort something out for you 🤞 but please keep up the great work.

Worldwide; great review. I have a set of the Cult model 03 (22gram) and have been throwing them for about a week. I really like the grip. I changed out the points to a longer point, short L-style shafts and a set of L-style shaped flights. The coatings on my darts match perfectly. I would contact Target and see what they will do for you. Target seems to have a bad quality control issue and for the cost of their darts that's totally unacceptable. That’s so disappointing to see $100 darts have so many issues like the match weighting being so far off (despite the guarantee +/- .05). The dart that’s different to the other 2 as well, I’d be pissed off totally too. It’s a real shame as the honeycomb machining on the barrels looks really nice and I like the colour combo. I was so looking forward to seeing this review as I thought these could be something special. Target should send a replacement without you having to send the originals back, send them an email and include photos of the darts and of you weighing them. It’ll be interesting to see how they respond. Great stuff WWD 👍🏻

Interesting Review. I got the Cult 01 in 23 grams a few days ago and am totally convinced of them. With my darts there is no difference between the barrels and the weights differ only by 0.04g. Only the shafts I do not find good, I do not understand the point of the aluminum part. Here I prefer to use Harrows Super Grip Carbon Shafts (with L-Style Flights). The grip on the darts is very unique and is the reason why I bought them in the end. Not too aggressive but still very rough, comparable to sandpaper. For me, they are the perfect darts ^^

Really nice set of darts. I would use the 03 model personally but wow the lack of quality control is brutal. My Target Adrian Lewis Gen 1s are perfect but that was a long time ago. Prices are going way up and you'd think the QC should too! Great review!

I have gotten some amazing darts for between $20 and $40. I can’t imagine paying $100 and getting those. You could get 3 or 4 sets of nice darts for that price! How disappointing. I don’t have any Target darts in my collection and I’m not sure I want to take a chance on spending a ton of money with quality control like that. Thanks for the review!!

I have the same set and like em. The grip is not aggressive but for my dry fingers great. Just play them with the carbon ti gold shafts cause the balance feels better for me. Also put on the long SP Barney Points. Dont know the Name...Surge Firepoint maybe ?

Another great review, Worldwide! These Target Cult darts sure have the look, but apparently not the quality colour/weight matching for the money spent. Target should at least get you a new set that represents the quality Target claims to have. And as a little icing on the cake they could throw in some Swiss storm Points (that come standard with the new Elysian 8), preferably in gold colour. Keep it up!

We know you give praise when it's do so it's up to Target to up their game. It's like building a house of cards, looks good but the foundations are awful. Thank you as well. 🙂

Good honest review. I'm not a fan of Target Darts. I think they are way to over expensive and the matching weighting is shocking. Surely they should check the weight of the barrels before selling them.

I did. I bought them based on looks. Two sets even. 21 and 23 grams to see what I liked better. They work well for me as an amateur actually! The smooth section is a very nice indicator for me where to put my finger to get consistent grip that I never get on pencil shaped barrels. Helps that mine are properly weighted and finished too I suppose. I've never thrown better scores than with these 21g Cult 01s! (Do have RvB Echo 95 on the way to try out too, we'll see how that goes!)

I'm not a fan of Target just coz of the price of their darts mainly. It's shocking how they can sell a dart that isn't within the threshold they put on the box and the fact that one barrel doesn't match the others. For the price we all expect them to be perfect. I have a mate that bought a set, he's a rear gripper. He couldn't get along with them and has gone back to some Japanese darts he got online 🤷🏼‍♂️. Great video though even though Target fluffed it once again. 👍🏼🎯

Wow! I saw your short clip the other day on these before the review and I ordered a set in 23 gram. They were just cool looking so they got me too haha! I actually ordered from AZ Darts this time because the price was good compared to over seas when you factor in the exchange rate and shipping which was a surprise! AZ does a great job of getting things out quickly too. They are going to be here Tuesday so I'll let you know if they have the same issues with the weight and coating. I might get lucky with the way I grip a dart more rear of center. Not very good quality control unfortunately for such an expensive set. Target darts has earned a ribbon of shame...

Great review. I was going to get a set of cult darts. The Cult 03. But know as a 100.00 dollar darts and postage. And to be that far off in weight. Target darts in quality is far from good. The swiss point is a great idea. The last set I bought from target was the Daytona's fire's in 22 grams. And to tell the truth, they are a 200.00 dollar dust collector .I try to stay away from target but they do make some great looking darts and that all. Great reviews as always. ALL THE BEST Paul

The one barrel not having the gloss finish doesn’t bother me as much as the weight issue. If they go through all this trouble starting that the barrels are guaranteed .5 off from 21, they really should be. Not the best quality control lol. Where are Targets made? Side note, sick looking darts and even better with the points you added on.

Takie rzutki to na półkę. Płaci się dużo a one się zużywają. Gdyby to był taki fun to zawodnicy grali by takimi. Ja do gry kupuje normalne rzutki. Po co mi kolor jak i tak zejdzie i rzutka jeszcze gorzej wygląda. Mam lotki target carrera pixel grip i po 2 latach grania naprawdę dobrze wyglądają i kilka kompletów wartych po 30 dolarów np. Winmau vendetta czy Designa darktunder v2. Kupione tanio i fajnie się gra. Świetny kanał prowadzisz. Pozdrawiam.

I always threw front loaded well but didn’t like darts that weren’t straight barrel so these intrigue me immensely

I happen to love straight barrels that are a bit front loaded due to them being drilled out deep. Examples are De Sousa darts, and Dynasty Gates darts to name a couple. I think there was a Darts Clearance dart drilled out a bit too

However, something regarding the swiss points. have you heard about the swiss points, that are used for the new elysian? there target managed to build kind of "storm" swiss points with no lip left . hope they will release those points in near future.

Honestly thats just shocking… The match weighting for such an expensive barrel is horrible but kind of expected for a Target dart at this point. But the fact that not even all barrels have the same coating is just on a whole new level even for Target… Off topic: Have you seen the dartsclearance Black Friday deals? They listed like 6 darts and some other stuff today and it looks like they‘re all great deals. Last year i got some amazing barrels there, so I probably won‘t be able to resist 😅

The weight was way off and the off color was Rey noticeable. Plus, I prefer a more uniform width. I got the Fallon Sherlock 80% darts a while back and really like them. All three came in at the exact same weight down to 2 decimal places. These are not worth the money!

@@WorldwideDarts I just tried out a single set of the carbon 360. They are so awfull you wouldn´t believe it. And they do not turn at all unless you use a wrench on them. Even tried to oil them - but still no turning. Actually they can turn, but it takes so much force that it is like they don´t.

Ignoring the quality control issues of mismatched weighting and inconsistent finish on the barrels…. This dart model has a rather long barrel for a 21g dart to still have a 6.8mm barrel thickness - I’d want/expect a thinner barrel at 52mm long and 21g weight… are these barrels hollowed out? A second concern/flaw in the overall design is the short 26mm points with the very prominent lip on the barrel which is made even more aggressive/complex by the removal facets of the Target Swiss point. The way these darts are delivered out of the box seems to be designed to maximize deflections. Bottom line, a lot of these darts with fancy machining, coatings and “innovative” features (Swiss points) seem more designed to look good in a display case vs. putting good scores up on the board.

What a great comment. I 100% agree. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it on KZbin but I've certainly talked about this at length over on Reddit. But most of of these Swiss points darts are huge in comparison to darts of equal weight and tungsten % from other companies. These barrels were only drilled out 13.8mm deep as seen in the stats section. Have a look at the Target Bolide 04 darts. A fairly basic barrel with Swiss points. Now compare them to similar darts from other companies darts of equal weight. It's dimensions are HUGE! I've speculated that Target's claim of 90% tungsten isn't accurate at all and one of these days I'll get a set of their darts professionally tested to see if they're really using 90% tungsten. Again, I have my strong doubts but can't prove anything at this point. The testing costs upwards of $500. Expensive for sure but I think it would make for a great video.

@@WorldwideDarts Wow, one would really expect better customer orientation, this week i called them, as the Swiss DS Surge Points are not allowed here in Germany, both in Clubs and Tournaments, so i tried to explain to them that it would be great if there would be Swiss DS Surge Point but without the Diamond Lasercut Tip...simply just smooth in the front but with the Finger Grip at the Barrel side, so that i have the Grip without damaging the board.... I am not even sure they understood what i meant...i am flabbergasted by this.

For example, I had an issue with a set of One80 darts. They showed up and one of the barrels was cracked by the nose cone. The company I bought them from immediately offered a refund and on top of that made sure I had a new set on the way. That's going above and beyond. Target honestly wasn't interested in doing the bare minimum. They simply didn't care.

Yes I did. Wasn't great. They told me to deal with the retailer that sold them to me. Here's the problem... I'm in the USA. I buy 99% of my products from the UK. So basically I'd have to spend $15 to ship them back, EXACTLY as I predicted in the this video by the way, and let them deal with it. To me it sounded like Target couldn't care less. IMO they did the absolute bare minimum to make things right.

@@WorldwideDarts Poor customer service from Target... Fortunately I have a very good retailer with great service here in Switzerland which handles issues perfectly (luckily only one required yet 😉). But I can understand your side as prices in the uk shops are way lower than here also for certain types of products (especcially accessoires; not the darts themselves if you concider customs). But the risk is on your side as the shipping and troubles with customs forth and back isn't in relation... Sorry to hear that you hadn't luck. I did not expected that. This video has disgusted me to the max. Being outside the weight guarantee by 0.2g was bad enough but the odd coated barrel put me over the top. I would call them and make them pay the return shipping and replace the set. I don’t know if I would ever buy another set of Target darts ever again. They are crazy expensive anyway.

Well i thought what a good looking barrel prob £100 but was very surprised when i see a uk seller selling them for £65 not rrp 75 very nice looking dart but I'd be sooo disappointed with the odd dart dull wtf match weight not good for £75 do you think some shops get seconds and pass them off or was you unlucky.. anyway are you going to contact target would be interested what they say very good eye opening vid ww 👍🎯

Shame on Target QC for not catching the coating difference for a US$100 dart set. Also not impressed with the matched weight. 21.27g should also have been matched better on this set.

Target is getting worse as time goes on, it's shocking really. Not a fan of their boards, and the darts keep getting more expensive with less quality it seems. Bought the Clemens' Gen 1 on Amazon at a great price but that's it, I will stay away from target prodcuts for the foreseeable future

It's so hit or miss with them. The Barney darts were perfect. Dead on perfect. Then this set is a mess. The $15 and $30 no name Amazon darts are made WAY better than these things. It's not even close.

I use darly gurney 23g . Bought myself the cult SP01 23g treat myself finding them hard to use don't know maybe going from straight barrel to those just putting me of don't know what it is anybody have an ideas is it just me 🤔

There a great looking dart but I’m not a fan of darts with irregular grip because there’s nothing to go of on to know if you like the grip and for the price it can be hit or miss PS target should get sued for that match weighting

You can literally tell the order in which I filmed this video. Same order as always but I was honestly excited in the beginning of the video. Then you could tell I was disappointed with the weight and all downhill after that. Of course I film the 180 clip right after the bullseye intro so I was still happy then 😂

@@WorldwideDarts no doubt I could definetly tell by your demeanor from beginning then seeing the difference can't believe they had the nerve to brag about weight twice on box then show up way different then what they claim and the whole matte finish on the last dart ... I work in quality control myself and I know that had that been me I would be looking for a new job those things can't be overlooked for 100 dollar darts at all just saying
