I still don't understand how direct drive makes it look so easy. I was playing on my first double pedals ever, for about the last 8 months or so (single chain TAMA's) and finally got fast enough (sometimes), to play AngelMakers "i long for rest". But they just wouldn't get any tighter. Plus sitting on random kitchen chairs, cheap ass stools, and coffee tables didn't help. And right after taking a month break from Clone Hero, i tried them and was hauling ass. And then me and girlfriend broke up and she's got the Alesis Kit and pedals 🤦 And we planned on getting direct drive soon, too. So much for getting better 😒 fuckin females. Absolutely nasty drum playthrough by the way. 🤯🤘
