Though I will say democracy at times can be a bit flawed though that depends on each system and the people trying to grab more power be it through threat and or money as democracies in the past and present have turned into dictatorships Burma, Iraq, Iran, Russia, pre WW2 Germany, and of course politicians of democratic nations have had the ability to get rich from war and let the lower income bracket of the civilianry fight their wars for them for example Veitnam

Well technically the ussr wasn't communist but socialist and Stalinism is a form of socialism the reason why Stalin is seen as one of the better socialist/communist leader is cause most of the other socialist/communist wouldn't be able to lead the ussr against Germany

Holodomor was not a genocide, it was a drought and famine, just ask academic like J Arch Getty, Davies and Kotkin, and Wheatcroft, and Soviet Union never left depression and oppression, it brought democracy. People were very happy to be under communism then fascist oppression. It gave new rights to the people, and it was so popular that in 1991 they held a referendum if the Soviet Union should dissolve, and an astounding 77% of people said they wanted the Soviet Union to stay.
